End the Freeday Friday Rants.

It reduces the pay to win factor, so that's a plus.

Look man i agree but if people actually weren't so cheap about it and bought what they wanted mcpvp would still exist , honestly if you want something just buy it , its simple and that way you get it permanently . Now i know people will scream that not everyone will have the ability to pay some cash to buy kits ranks ect. but if you have the supplies and time to play minecraft you have the money to buy a kit . JMHO ( The only pro is that you can try out kits )

 

Yeah i agree but you cant have your cake and eat it to , i personally already have all the kits ect. that i want so this does not affect me , im all for them letting people have free kits but honestly there is no reason to do it , the only reason would be it will act like a test drive for people to see if they like something and then buy it :l

 

You COULD argue it like that, or you could realize that not everyone has the disposable income to drop on a block game that's likely to die in less than a year or two.

If everyone bought all of the classes, mcpvp still would have died because they were garbage at handling the community.

Oh, and the reason you've got listed as a 'good reason' is literally the reason it exists.

 

Well you are quite aggressive arent you ??? Most likely because you support the free kits , and MCPVP was fine with their community , but that is besides the point . And if someone does not have money to spend on this block game fair enough they just cant have it , and i doubt 1 day a week will fix anything !

 

The only people who complain about Freeday Friday are entitled ****s who bought some premium classes on their own already or those who believe that no one should have the privilege of trying out some new classes simply because they think it is annoying to play against. What worthless scum can get angry for premium classes being free to play for 14.285714285% of the time that the server is up?

Anyways, whatever, yeah. Somebody with all the classes saying that there should be no freeday is like rich people telling the poor to buy their money.

If you already own all the classes, why does it bother you that others who don't can play them one day a week? How does these people not buying classes affect you in any way at all? What gives you the privilage to dictate exactly what all these people can and cannot have?

Besides, statistics aren't on your side here. Instead of telling a majority to change something that needs no changing, why not figure out if you need to change?

For the record, your assumption about me supporting the free classes is entirely correct. I don't see how that changes my point.

Hclewk was a terrible buisnessman who had very little communication with his players, his customers, or his staff. Their shutting down was forseen a long time prior.

1 day a week made a lot of the vets here buy a lot of the classes that they use.

 

This is why I took advantage of the xp system back on mcpvp and got all the classes ^.^

 

Look dude , i have NO problem with the free kits 1 day a week , i agree that that is a great way to market the kits and also alow people to check out kits they wish to purchase or simply want and cant buy at the moment ect. And i dont appreciate the way you use the word "Dictate" . I honestly could care less if people got free kits for one day ! And you know if it helps the community its all good with me .

And by the way everyone has an opinion im not "DICTATING" the community , i doubt my opinion will change much anyway ! What you dont get is there is literally no legitimate reason to create a day with free kits ! If Brawl owners or whatever wish to do it its cool , it could help them out quite a bit long term .
And of to the other point i dont see what Hclewk being a bad businessman has to do with this post , you started that subtopic on here without me so i dont see why you should involve me in it ! And my opinion about that subject is MCPVP servers were going to die because they never evolved into a new game , HG was their huge hit but its just to much of the same things ! There was no long term for them !!! And i simply dont see how you formulate your opinions because Hclewk was not at fault for the whole failure , i was on the livestream when Monovox quit along with like 300 other people !!! After that day when all the OG players quit the servers died , their bad attitude is what ended them up there not Hclewk !

 

These posts are getting long and boring.

The experienced players complain which causes the newer people to think it's good to complain also.

When Freeday happens, I just log off.
Honestly, I play most of the time any other day, whats a one day break going to do?
Yeah, sure its got hate from me, but I'd rather see people trying out classes and buying them
Than buying classes and not even using them
like me
We were all a "noob" at one point, we all did Freeday Friday when we wanted to try new classes, we were all there
so why can't they be there, now?

I remembered the only time I played on ctf was on Fridays until I got pro on mcpvp. I became obsessed with ninja I wouldn't play anything else. 1 month later, my pro expired, I stopped playing ctf until I was gifted ninja when mcpvp is practically dead. And now I stopped playing ninja and started using free classes a bit more.

The point is, I wouldn't be playing ctf without free Friday. Even if I got pro I'd use it on Sab passes and maze stuff instead of ctf because I didn't know any of the premium classes.
