Reasons to Quit CTF/Stay on CTF

Ironically, my girlfriend dumped me, with reasons pertaining to the fact that I played this game. Good times.

 

Reasons to quit MCCTF:

1. A large amount of micromanaging staff that ruin the gameplay and community experience for others who often do it in order to seem like they are doing enough work to get a promotion or to remain staff.
2. MCCTF's pathetic excuse for gameplay that is unbalanced, stupid, repetitive, unoriginal, uncompetitive, and overall, a piece of worthless dribble.
3. To play another game that is more fun, more competitive, has a better community, has less bull****, worth the money, and more worth investing your time in.
4. MCCTF's community is absolute trash (as to be expected from a Minecraft server). It lives and breeds off of infinitely recycled jokes, holier-than-thou attitudes, ass kissing, and more stupid ****.
5. Everyone saying to "be patient" and to wait another 3-6 months for some worthwhile updates. Being here for over 3 years, there was always some asswipe that said "be patient, change will happen eventually." Throughout those 3 years I have been here, the only worthwhile and important changes I have seen were a Pyro nerf, an Assassin nerf, and hotbar saving (don't bother trying to tell me of some bull**** tiny changes that took a fraction of a second to implement, did little to nothing, or turned out to be a fix to a mistake that shouldn't have happened in the first place, e.g., the Chemist Buff then Nerf back to original, bug fixes, cosmetic changes, and class stars).
6. It is under Brawl administration (easily as bad as McPvP's administration, possibly even worse), the server network that censors chat on PvP servers, hires corrupt, ass-kissing, asshole staff members, implements Quake Plasma Gun speed, grenade arcing bullets on modern military weapons (including ****ing sniper rifles), keeps many things hidden from its community (including who edited, moved, or deleted their posts), fails at keeping deadlines, and does more horrendous **** that I am unable to list in under a few months writing time.
7. MCCTF is very Pay2Win. Don't even attempt to argue with me on this one, the only classes I don't currently own are Necro and Elf, arguably the two worst classes in the game.
8. Infinitely more reasons that aren't listed here due to my own laziness.

Reasons to stay on MCCTF:

1. The one or two people that you see once or twice a day that are bearable or nice to be around.
2. You can't find anything better to do due to being too lazy to find something better to do.
3. You want to see how much ****tier Brawl can make MCCTF.
4. Exploiting bugs.
5. Being an ass.
6. Getting staff so you can attempt to make the game and community better and fail or to just be an even bigger ass than previously possible with non-staff ranks.
7. Seeing how stupid most of the community is, especially a few select extra retarded people.
8. A few more reasons that aren't listed here due to my own laziness.

Making this list was more fun than playing MCCTF.

Reasons for leaving:
1. Bug fixes are more important than reworking/adding new stuff. And these bug fixes don't bring in new players.
2. Staff are sick and tired of the B.S. that runs through CTF. I.e. no major updates.
3. "Get back" as in team matches starting up again? Nom just made a post on this.
4. Gotta love the "Brawl mindset" and community!

Reasons for staying:
1. Wave X is long overdue, and with the map limits on build, I lost interest of making CTF maps.
2. Autobans < More staff
3. Always a good thing, but MCPVP rarely had hackers.
4. New staff is always good, but more is needed.
5. New players = brawlers = pointless killing in games and/or targeting. I.e. a Medic attacking a Heavy.
6. Updates!?! XD lmao. If you count the event server as an update, by all means do so. It doesn't effect most of the CTF Community, just the CTF Teams. I have yet to see a post about CTF outside of the CTF section (like in the update logs or the IP being added to the home page).

TBH, CTF is no better than it was at MCPVP. If a loose cart rolls down a hill, it will catch up to the horse (Chap worked for MCPVP, meaning it hasn't turned out to be much different).

 

Honestly, I think everyone is making a big deal out of absolutely nothing.

Holy **** guys, come on. If you're so determined to "quit" a game, then just do it already and stop making a bunch of threads on it complaining about everything. If it doesn't go your way exactly how you pictured it, then that's truly a wake up call right there. Just tell your friends that the road is coming to an end and that you're done with this Minecraft game instead of balancing out what is good, what is bad, and announcing to everyone and their mother why you're quitting. I've never seen so many people have extreme doubts over the future and be such drama queens with their leaving posts. The amount of negativity is honestly ridiculous. If you don't like it, then see you on the flip side.

Judging by what people have been saying, you all seem to have so many doubts but decide to play daily anyways. Take a break and come back when things go your way instead of complaining about how nothing is how you want it. The only thing I can see even worth trying to complain about is something that is completely unbalanced in the game (Chemist is a wonderful example of this.)

This came out rude, but someone had to speak up about it. This is just all the thoughts inside of my head that I want to be unleashed, I don't care if you like it or not.
