Idea Shields instead of blocking

    So 1.9 blocking is being removed but I think like every class should have a shield which you hold up to stop assassinations. Also MVPs and elites could customise theirs in the hub or something. Idk

    Are shields gonna be customizable??
    Imagine all these shiny nice looking shields that are going to block me when I'm assassin... nice.

    I think there will be a wood shield, a stone shield, a gold shield, an iron shield, and a diamond shield.

    I don't know if its just me but I'm kinda curious why there isn't blocking with swords but oh well...

    Dude, you can' block with a sword IRL. You can hit their sword at the same time and clash, but you can't block. It's just not effective. I mean, maybe you can turn it sideways and hold it up? IDK.

    Oh. Yeaaaah. But I don't think that holding up a parry for 2 minutes is effective. Perhaps if you hit simultaneously damage is negated?

    I wouldn't worry about any minecraft updates until 2017. The year we will most likely see any gameplay change.
