There was a discussion like that on the old McPvP forums, too.

I was working on 2 more maps which have different themes and were supposed to get completed before I finish this one (Gray Sublime Archon), because I knew people would compare it to Norse Dominion, but I was lacking inspiration so I stopped building them and finished Gray Sublime Archon instead.
And I see why you think that it looks pretty similar to Norse Dominion.
But in my opinion, there are just the palisades and the terraforming which look similar.
The rest is quite different, especially the gameplay.

Apart from the aesthetics, the themes are pretty different, too.
Two different eras, two different tribes. (;
