Do newer maps get played less often?

    Hi. I'm seeing newer maps getting played on only 1/4 of the brawl servers at a time, while castle cavern, ship battle, and the like get played on 3/4 servers. Do newer maps spawn less or something?

    Each map has the same chance to get picked, but there's less new maps as there are older maps so it'll feel as if less new maps are being played.

    Perhaps increase the spawn rate of newer maps?

    I think it's just a random thing but it is annoying I still have only played like half the wave X maps.

    The more times the map is played, the quicker it'll get old.

    It's your perception, more new maps were added than got taken out so there are more maps being played and a smaller chance for one certain map to be selected.
