>>What the duck!?!?

The Duck Squad started when a bunch of cheeky lads got together one night (or day, bloody timezones), threw on some duck onesies and went ham on CTF with a substantially large medic team. Since then, the Duck Squad has grown in size and reputation, we've picked up some rivals (pandas? seriously? that's the best you could come up with?) and now we've made the decision to go official. As you can probably tell, we're not the most serious team around, so if you're looking for fun calls and stuffing around with the rowdy crew (and, on occasion, playing matches), Duck Squad is probably the team for you.

>>Applications

We're a non-regional team, meaning anyone, from anywhere, can join (if the lads vote you in, of course). This is a decision made in order to make it as difficult as possible to get a full roster for matches, but hey, hooray for equality!

But wait! Before you submit an application, make sure you've considered the following. It's better for both of us if you're the sort of person that would fit in with the team.

Requirements

Of course, if you don't meet a couple of these requirements, you can still apply, but your chances will be a lot better if you meet these. There's an asterisk next to the requirements that are absolute necessities (that is, if you don't meet these, forget it).

1. Know some people in the team, or be comfortable making new friends (don't worry, we're all welcoming!).
2. Have a good sense of humour, and be willing to fool around some games. Playing seriously isn't a bad thing, but if everyone else is having fun hanging out in secret rooms in some maps, join in. Don't be a party pooper.
3. Be good at the game and play it regularly. We'll vote personality over skills any day of the week, but it's an added bonus if you know what you're doing, so you can contribute in matches.
4. Talk in calls. We call more than we use text-based chat (though there's no harm in that), so being able to talk during calls is pretty necessary, especially in matches. If you don't have a mic set up, just do it. What are you waiting for?
5. *Be willing to change your skin to add a duck onesie over the skin. It still reveals your face, and you can add a few little extras here and there (nipples, panties, etc).
6. *Have your forum profile picture somewhat related to the Duck Squad: the easiest way to do this is to just leave it as your skin's head.

Application Format​

Righto, now that we've got those pesky things out of the way, we can get to the application. Again, the ducks represent required fields. If you don't feel comfortable sharing any of the information on the thread (required or non-required), feel free to PM it to me on the forums.

What happens now? Well, we get your application, and from there it's up for the team to decide, so ideally you want your app to be nice and convincing so people want to vote for you. We'll wait a day or so and if there are more "Y"s than "N"s, congratulations! You're in, and you'll get a complimentary duck skin.

If you're denied, I'll give you a reply on the forums to explain reasons for your denial. We'll then give you a month to possibly work on these things, and if you're still interested, feel free to re-apply and we'll begin the voting process again. We only ask that you accept the outcome of your vote and don't pester us. Pretty please?

Rules​

• Respect: We don’t mind witty banter within the team and to people you know, but try not to go around in public servers and flame the chat: remember, you're representing the Duck Squad! I’m sounding like the biggest hypocrite right now, aren’t I?
• Inactivity: 2 weeks of inactivity (no messages in any chats) from any players without letting a Quack know beforehand will result in a warning PM. Failure to respond to that PM for 2 days will result in the removal of your duck skin and basic duck rights.
