Away Brawl...

This is exactly what the players have been trying to tell brawl for a while. Nothing has really happened around here until the transfer. I believe Signatured said that there was a lot of setbacks throughout the years, but that doesn't really excuse the fact that brawl has had very little development.

 

I like how we have staff members that like to focus on other things (Like Brittan with staff applications) rather than their role. (Like Brittan as a coder)

I'm just using Brittan as an example, no offense if taken.

 

You make some really valid points. The data of customers doesn't lie.

I think 2.0 is never going to come out with this team.

 

The thing is, all of you guys have been complaining about little development. Yet when they do give you development (War update, WarZ update), you guys still complain. There are little coders that have access to the main development of Brawl, so they can't really do everything at once. One moment people are complaining about how long it's taking to update the servers (Pixelmon, SAO, etc.), the next you're complaining about how they're not fixing the bugs with the servers we already have. Which one do you want them to work on?

 

1) They only promised the CoD DayZ and SAO server around a few months ago, and of course that's going to take a long time to do.
2) There was a ton of people who asked for smaller updates for the War and WarZ servers so they'd have something to do while they waited for the massive updates that were going to come out.

 

I wonder what would have happened if orange was here...

All the main coders should be replaced no offense. But you guys need to stop slacking and do your jobs.

 

Instead of complaining why don't you learn how to code yourself and than try to get into the coding team?
Coding stuff isn't easy, coding good stuff is even harder. Then we have the fact that most of these people probably have a life besides this server they run and may also have a job. A community may start dying however it shouldn't be blamed on those trying to run it.

 

They should be blamed when they're not doing their jobs as coders (what some of them are paid for).

 

If they're getting payed for it *shrug*
Either way posting rants like this won't help anybody and will just poison the community more. The more people believe a community's dying the more people will leave I've seen on other communities I've seen come and go.

 

We're trying to finally push staff to make a change. If you wonder through the forums, you will see many of these posts. The community want what they want, and frankly, we're not asking for much. Yes asking for the big servers to be released immediately is a bit out of proportion, but it's taken months for the PvP Survival loggers and lag to be fixed. Survival Games with Guns went down, and came back up with no guns o.e I feel that the community would be more understanding if they at least often gave us an explanation as to why the server was down, and what they were doing to help improve. The bottom line is, we want change for the better, and this is our way to discuss it.

 

I can agree to more transparency on their side, this was really needed on MCPVP. I wasn't aware this is a long-going thing as I recently moved from MCPVP.

 

I understand what you are saying but these people have been trained to code and they have chosen coding as what they wanted to do. And they are even getting payed for it. You can't just a put a crappy answer to all these rants. We except at least something.

Also there was a major pvp logging glitch on survival which wasn't fixed until 6 months later when the staff realize that they should close the server for repairs. And even now it's still not fixed.
