    Although I must agree woodland and parklife are garbage, I Haven't yet encountered Slate, subzero, or Lighthouse yet, So my opinion on them are a perfect 6.5/10

    Well, there's a lot of maps with wasted space. They're useless and no one spends their time going to those areas.
    Some maps have too much aesthetics to the point where it affects game play.

    I actually dont get how Cruise Ship battle got in
    from when i saw it last archer became even more of a problem than it was before
    Yet reworks are meant to fix issues on current maps, not elaborate and extend the issue?

    I wouldnt exactly call Large Hall trash because it doesn't favour soldiers
    hell it did a bit but was balanced with the mobility across the map

    I want to personally apologise for parklife :bag: It was made in about 3hrs as more of a palette test than anything, I submitted a long long time ago it not really expecting anything to come from it (so I was really surprised and pleased when it was accepted!). If I'd realised it had a chance of getting in I'd have made it a lot bigger and more interesting. My bad guys :rolling_eyes:

    I'll be defending my own map here.

    I don't see how Cruise Ship Battle is worse than the original. Not only was the map innovative, we completely gutted the old ship and transformed the flag room into a more balanced area. Personally, I believe that the new flag room is much better than the old one as there are numerous entrances and exits as well as enough defense room.

    Also, we got rid of the sails that promoted Soldiers to be extremely overpowered. The boat is also completely restricted so that Engineers are no longer a massive issue.

    We added numerous ways onto the boat that are much more efficient than the old map.

    Also, the island is now one instead of numerous parts to where it was a pain. We also gave the island some life which gives cover from the Archers and a small buff to Soldiers.

    I stand strong that the map is much better than the original and all the other reworks out there. It's not the strongest map of the wave, but it improves upon the original which is the goal of reworking a map.

    Well whenever I go into a Wave X map I always have trouble finding the flag room. So bad job for the Mods on the aesthetics. Basically whenever I see a map from Wave X I immediately just go into a different server.

    Yeah this explains why you didn't think of archer
    You removed the sails which favoured soldier, but where is the cover for archer? I just see an easier way to headshot people on the deck of the cruise
    Engineers can be a bigger issue with less cover lmao

    The island is definitely a well done I'll hand it to you
    I wouldn't count an improvement making things worse js. If it was an improvement you'd have focused more on the maps biggest problem which was archer. Again, don't know how disastrous archer is in the map but I definitely still have my doubts for that reason

    We did focus on Archer, that's why the island has plenty of cover through houses, trees, and market stands.

    Also, I haven't had any experiences with Engineers being an issue. Since the ship has no spots for Engineer (if one slipped by me, please PM me the location), people can move freely across the boat unlike the original where you constantly got knocked back.

    Futhermore, are you going to tell me that shooting off the deck on the original where there's no cover is worse than shooting where there is cover? Plus, shooting on the deck really shouldn't be an issue as there's numerous opportunities to knock people off and there are multiple entrances and exits throughout the ship to avoid the Archer. It's not bad at all, the original is way worse due to how the flag room is positioned and the number of exits and entrances the original had.

    So please, get some experience with the map before you come to me and complain about it as you seem to have no idea what the map is actually like.

    There is a compass in your inventory that points to each flag. However, not all maps have flag rooms that are terribly difficult to find. In most cases, the "main building" on each side will hold the flag room (for example, on Villaggio Chiesa the flag room is inside of the church directly outside of spawn.) I will agree though that I had a little bit of a hard time finding one or two of the flag rooms, but that's no reason to skip every map from the wave when it comes up.

    Noobs won't realise a compass is pointing to the flagroom. If anything it's more important to make maps friendly and easy to navigate around to new players

    Most of them from this wave are fairly easy to find the flag room to. I really only had an issue with one or two maps but that was solved by just asking around, which anyone can do.

    Exactly, and that is why we should add a map for the map that tells you where the flagroom is!
