Please fix either the autoban system or those who are banning people for 12 hours for hacking.

    I already sent in a ban appeal after yesterday's occurences, I was just playing an HG which I died in so as the majority of people would do, I stopped recording. I then joined a soup server which contained about 3 people with my friend and started in another 16 minutes so I decided I would sit next to the sponge and import one of my videos into my editor, obviously my laptop wouldn't be able to cope (FPS wise) if I was recording on MC whilst importing so I thought okay i'll just go in and start fighting people (3 minutes left at this point until the game starts) so I decided if there is a hacker someone will record them so unless I get incredible montage clips then not recording won't be a problem. Anyway I jump down into the middle (where most people fight) and I join. I was in the middle of a big cluster of people and I was just trying to get hits off to maybe try and steal a kill, next I was fighting one person and got battered by them meaning that I had to leave and resoup so I was trying to refill when I saw the (ban hammer is incoming) flash up on my screen at which point I was so confused and didn't manage to start recording in time. This was so infuriating not only because I had been sat waiting for 15 minutes but that all those real hackers are sat freely playing the game while I am banned for hacking for 12 hours. Another reason for righting this is because even though my 12 hours has expired I am really worried that it will affect my chances of becoming a Mod which I have been working on for over a week now. I was told my application was really good but I needed to to be more active on the forums and I should try and apply again soon. So it would be nice to know that a stupid wrongly given ban will be wiped off my record as I have tried desperately hard and would hate for it to ruin my chances. Thanks for reading this Essay!

    The autoban should be more accurate, but I agree its not accurate enough right now. It definitely shouldn't ban you for 12 hours, especially on your first offence.

    I think it should work how McPvP's autoban did. When you got autobanned, it'd be 10 minutes to begin with. Then, there was a "redemption period" for about 30 minutes, and if you got autobanned during this time it'd be 20 minutes next .ect. The "redemption period" got bigger and bigger as the time you got autobanned got bigger.

    The auto ban is the ban hammer right? I thought that got temp removed.

    Its impossible to make it perfectly accurate, though.

    I got autobanned yesterday D:but I think I was banned for "flyhax" (I was lagging out while in air)

    The autoban is very inaccurate. I got banned coz I was comboing this guy like crazy and for landing in water.

    I will say that the autoban system is rather effective at eliminating hackers. Unfortunately it sometimes bans random people for no reason. I think there should be some way to make a clear distinction between an autoban and an actual ban.

    I highly doubt this will hurt your chances. staff are aware of the random auto-bans and some mods have actually been auto-banned themselves.

    Haha, I got banned last night, but viva was on so he unbanned me.

    It usually bans the wrong people anyway :I

    My friend (a cheater who uses wurst client) was playing. Thanks to wurst, people can now fly even with nocheat+ enabled. He was using the must obvious major hacks, like multiaura and fastbow. After 2 hours he didn't get banned. And he didn't even used Yescheat+ (bypasses nocheat+). Yet he did say some people who were NOT hacking got banned. When I heard of this I got a vpn, went into alt, and started beating the crap out of everyone. I didn't even get autobanned. But I was using Yescheat+ just to be safe (half the time, and yes, I was flying and everyone kept calling me a hacker. And some non-hackers did get banned. Only 2 hackers got autobanned, while like 8..... you know)

    That is just like saying "Bob is hacking! He's gonna get banned!" Like the mod is gonna ban him immidiently

    I just got banned for shift clicking stuff out of a mini-feast chest too fast, I agree that they really need to make the system more accurate and do the redemption period thing @MinebunchAddSoup was talking about, could this ban also be wiped from my record sense it was very inaccurate, I was just being too fast and MLG for the system to realise I wasn't hacking.

    I don't think autobans are being recorded, and if they are then they'd be about as accurate as War 2.0's original ETA, so it'll probably be fixed.

    i didnt mean your friend. i meant you. you clearly admitted to hacking and "beating the crap out of everyone" with those hacks. i guess its been so long i doubt u will get banned now but if i was a mod u woulda been banned
