    What would you consider an optimal game size? Note that this is total player count, NOT players per team.

    Having 70 players in total is hella fun and brings back nostalgia, but that is a bit of overcrowding. Newer maps are designed to fit around 40 players, 70 players is overkill. It would be literally impossible to steal the flag, and even recover should the flag carrier have a ton of support, and im sure they would with 35 players in their team

    20 v 20 is about where the servers capped on MCPVP, unless there were tons of people, so 40.

    I think in total no more then 60 but to start a game maybe more then 12 to make games bigger

    I'd say 50. Reason being is that it's not overcrowded, but there are still enough players on each team to successfully fulfill every role.

    I wanted to say 70+ at first :^)
    but then I realized everyone is a regular these days so it wouldnt be possible to cap
    60-70 imo

    More players just mean more frustration (deaths, engineers...) I think.

    I said 60 because 70 is too much and is laggy, but 50 is okay too... xDD Maybe I'll change my vote now... dunno.

    30-40, Any more would be over the limit that map could withstand before becoming a cluster... well you know. And Maps that would fit a lot more people would suffer from lack of detail, increase of lag for those who suffer from it, and simply become a tedious task just to get to the other side.

    Plus this limit would encourage more people to use the other servers. (since we are moving towards the same problem from mcpvp as only one or 2 servers are ever used at a time.)

    CTF was not to be designed to be played on a server with more than 40 players. At least, that is my opinion.

    I'd like to see one or two maps made SPECIFICALLY for 60 player games. They'd have very open flagrooms but be wide and very long with lots of cover.

    Should be 200 v 200 imo

    But really i voted 60 - 30v30 is a decent amount any less and the pros will be capping like crazy xd

    I voted <30.
    With 50 people (most votes atm) it is too crowded, especially the flagrooms :C You usually have about 5 randoms running around with no clue what they're doing, one (or usually rather two) pyros and a bunch of ninjas, which makes it really hard to steal. Teamwork also is something that really gets ruined in large games because the chat is very crowded and most people don't care about /md in chat as some random has definetely noticed you can spam that command.

    Soo yea ;-; I like small, quiet objective-based games. Without twenty heavies, ten archers and more alike.
