Mcpvp advertised brawl on their website when Mcpvp was one of the top servers. Without Mcpvp we wouldn't be talking on here right now

I didn't find it right that he brought Mcpvp into this thread the way he did, rubbing it in our face. Mcpvp was where I used to spend a lot of time.

While I don't exactly agree with your outro statement, I do wish you luck as you were very active and helpful on MCPVP.

Brawl and McPvP were far too different to be merged, end of story.

 

It's sad to see you go, you were a pretty good mod... I'll say some criticism so don't take anything personal... I still think you did a lot for the community despite all of this... negativity...

Well first of all I do admit you were extremely inactive as a moderator with very little forum-posts even after you got moderator for like months. But yeah, the Staff could've alerted you, if you thought that it was a mistake you could've talked to Cuddled or any senior staff member as to why you weren't alerted instead of ranting on forums to public.

From the experience of other moderators I've heard that moderating on Brawl isn't the BEST thing. But that's what you should decide once you become mod. People apply for mod and when they get demoted they act so immature, it was their decision to apply for mod. They should have seen it beforehand if they thought that moderating was not the best decision for them, and they even had a second hand-chance considering they had all that time of moderating to choose whether or not to resign. You basically had the same decision, you were transferred from McPvP but you still could've chose to resign way earlier.

Recording hackers first them banning them is a priority. Sure there are other servers that do permanent bans on-spot, but I really doubt the person that got banned (and most probably isn't guilty) is not very happy. This is to make sure that the person is actually hacking. This could be a trust issue... but there's at least some evidence stating if someone hacked or not. I could kind of see why this is a bit slower, but how hard is it to press a button, then upload it to YouTube, you can have a slow AF laptop and still be able to do this.

If you feel like you're not enjoying Brawl or you're not participating in meetings, saying this just points out that you're irresponsible. You should communicate more with the Senior Staff about the problems you are having or if you're straight out uninterested. You shouldn't be a burden to the staff team, there's a difference between not caring and being a huge weight. Remember that you're another mod that's representing Brawl...

Well, I'm on your side on the part where you weren't alerted. But the part that you're slaves is not correct... first of all being someone's slave means that you are their property and you are forced to obey them. You're not their property, they may order you around but you don't have to obey them. There aren't like real consequences, sure they might warn you a couple times, if you go far off they'll demote you. But you're not forced to do it, and they don't own you, it's an open network. You just do a staff application (which you did in McPvP), which basically agrees that the higher staff have a little more control on you. Anyone can help out in their free-time, but not everyone can spend free-time to moderate. Again, if you didn't have time to moderate and such you could simply tell tell the higher staff that you may not be able to moderate for that much time.

This thread pretty much just showed your immaturity and how you're irresponsible and can't handle things efficiently. I've already stated what you could do to stop yourself from being demoted, and what to do if you thought the staff wasn't the right place for you to be. You may think this, but I'm sure MANY other mods don't think this. Think about the percentage of resignations that leave like this. Moderators who leave on a note on this just reflect their personalities. Maybe it's not Brawl that's messed up, but rather yourself... again, this probably sounded really personal, but I didn't mean it to be...

Honestly, I've even lost my interest to play on here, when I've been playing for more than two years... This server isn't worth playing anymore.
Why am I saying this? Well... let's say I opened up my eyes and realized this server is so bad compared to others, it's not even funny.
In BBH's server you're treated with respect, and they actually listen to you and take your ideas into consideration.


Fbm had all rights to say this, even though some people may not agree. If you haven't realize by now that Brawl is going in a downward spiral, It's time for you to open up your eyes.
Sooner or later, a problems going to pop up that Brawl brought up on itself, and Brawl wont be able to stand it, and it'll collapse. If you don't agree with me, then look at all the outros posted recently. Look at how many people have said "this server is so bad". Look around you. All the signs point to it. Why ignore it anymore?

Oh and, if you quote this saying "he had no right, blah blah blah blah" I won't care, so don't bother quoting this if you're going to disagree<3

Yes, that's true. That's why I said "stop ignoring it" because I've herd it all before... I wish not to hear it anymore. I wish to be accepted into a community where it's safe to give out your skype. Where the community is nice and you don't get threatened to get 'hit off' for doing your job. Like really?
And I've found it.
All I'm saying is that people need to open their eyes and notice everything that's going around. As a regular member you're not so aware, sure. As a staff member, everything changes. You realize the little things you didn't notice before. You realize that compared to other servers and communities what you once thought was 'good' is actually pretty bad.

Lmao I don't believe for a second that this thread showed any immaturity. Go look up the definition for maturity and then come back. All he did was explain why he didn't feel obligated to help out anymore, as he didn't feel it was a great environment for him due to several issues. The slave remark is obviously a slight exaggeration, and its quite immature of you to not pick up on that and try to make a whole paragraph on it.

If he didn't handle things because he didn't want to, I don't exactly see why he's irresponsible or inefficient. He was mod for mcpvp, did great things, and will continue to do great things on other servers, servers that he feels are a better place for him. Logically speaking, your argument doesn't hold water if he has been a superb staff at other servers, and well, its not only him that has left for similar reasons.

He is not a representative of brawl anymore as he was 'demoted', or well, he basically resigned as he stopped being active, and he left on an honest note, which is the most mature thing someone could do.

Also, final point. I don't see how you're in any position to judge his character or his maturity. You're no authority figure on being 'adult like', and neither is anyone here.

What the heck is going on!

Everyone leaving is saying the same thing. This is terrible. Thanks for all you did. Our Admins appear to have no clue what they are doing. I can't believe no one talked to you before taking away your permissions. That's pretty cold blooded and unprofessional.

 

I'm an MCPVP veteran myself, and a lot of what you said is simply not true...
