Like the idea because its actually fair to the people that actually play CTF for a while compared to like 1 game.

+1 KDR is the predictor of success compared to competitors and the only way to truly evaluate how good someone is from a quantitative perspective.

Okay, so you don't do it to be on the leaderboards yourself. Well that's a start, but why does it bother you so much that new players make it to the leader boards!? So what if the next Steveskin is number 1 on there! We play CTF for fun, don't we?

 

tbh i think kdr should just be removed from the leaderboards. it seems to cause so many problems and if someone really cares about their kdr that much then they can just work it out

As one of the regular people on this list (you can look it up if you're that bothered as to which one I am) it is annoying that after playing the game and trying, that a good 75% of the people at the top have spent 20 minutes in game farming it. I personally don't really care about my k/d, but it's nice to be able to say you have it, as I'm sure quite a lot of people would agree with me. To say that these people spend 20 minutes farming just to remain on the leaderboards really is honestly pathetic, as I'm sure if a lot of them had spent a few hours on the game, then they wouldn't have nearly as good a score as that seems to indicate. Those people who are doing it don't deserve to be on the leaderboards, and so I'm definitely +1 for setting a kill limit. It will definitely get rid of the people who shouldn't really be there. It won't stop all of them, but at least the vast majority. I know a lot of the regulars will say why bother and that stats don't matter, but everyone should be treated fairly as well, and no matter how you look at it, the behaviour of these farmers with 20 minutes gametime is unfair on the people who really do play the game regularly and get these scores consistently. Those people deserve to be higher than where they actually are.

 

This is why I really don't like the new stats (even though probably nothing can be done to merge the old stats with the new). People have spent a ton of time getting stats, and have dedicated countless hours and days to this gamemode, and now I feel that they won't get any recognition from what they've put in with people literally just playing for 10-20 minutes and taking up spots on any leaderboards where the more skilled and dedicated players should be.

if ur playing ctf for a good kdr then ur playing for the wrong reason tho
kdr is like a side thing. u shouldnt need to care about kills in a *capture the flag server*
