Medic is a solid support class with the ability to heal teammates and restore items. I think medic should be able to give strengh I and speed I to teammates for 30 seconds when their items are restored, however only 4 people can be buffed by one medic at a time. This would be quite nice, as chemists rarely give teammates buffs. This would also encourage medics to be more proactive because teammates need buffs for defense, offense, or the sake of having buffs. I don't think this would be overpowered, since the buffs won't stack, medic is a free class, and buffs to strong classes can be obtained from chemists if they are nice.
Tell me below what you think!

P.s we need another in-game 'A begginers guide to CTF' to teach people how to heal x3

The problem with medic is that when you don't know how to use it, its a useless support class. Even with this change, it'd be a useless support class when you don't know how to use it.

I do agree with you to a certain extent, but to teach new people how to use medic requires an in-game manual, not a new ability as i have suggested...

I see some problems with this... first of all it would interfere with class potion effects. Such as Ninjas and Assassins, they already have enough speed, would this nerf their speed or add on to it (and make it insanely op). Also this does not really fit with other classes, like why would there be an Engineer with Strength I and Speed I? That makes no sense, this would some classes ridiculous or just absurdly OP. Finally, let's face it, 98% of medics don't heal teammates, I don't know how this applies to anything, but yeah. Sorry but I don't think this would be a very nice addition.

I, personally, don't see how this is any different from Chemist buffs. It would have the same effect.

This is kinda the same as chemist buffs, except medics can supply them more often. Classes with speed who receive these buffs will not have increased speed - they just gain strengh.

This would make pocket-medics intolerable for every class, especially heavy. Having a medic would turn from a nice bonus to an absolute necessity if you want to play objectively.

Would effectively ruin gameplay, no thanks.

Well... I see the point of that, but then I think this should be limited, because medics can just keep hitting players and it would prove to be pretty OP. Maybe put a limit to how many people the Medic can buff at a time?

We should have a tutorial when beginners first join the game...

Maybe a map on creative or build that would be linked with a small tutorial, actually I'm going to start now.

If a heavy had a chemist give them buffs and a medic followed them to cap or defend, isn't that effectively what we can do already without this medic ability? I don't see how this can be overpowered if something else outclasses it, I thought it would just be nice because chemists rarely give buffs.

Ok I added a limit of 4 people at one time. But to be fair you don't see many medics hitting the same people throughout the whole game, unless they are playing defense or teaming.

Exactly. Defence will almost certainly be always buffed, so offence would always have to be buffed. You're also effectively removing the supportive aspect of chemist.
