Banners with their Hitboxes

    So, the fact that banners still have a hitbox is very annoying. Not being able to do any right click actions while looking at that hitbox often kills the player more than the actual defense would. You cannot
    -Throw a pearl (which eliminates many ghost cap attempts where you steal the flag, but cannot pearl out and then killed by defense)
    -Block assassins / use assassinate
    -Throw a health potion (or any potion in general)
    -Steak
    -Wall climb
    -Use any mage spell
    -Load / Fire arrows as Archer / Mage / Elf
    -Hit people across the banner
    I understand that Nom has already made the size smaller, but it is still a big issue that must be solved, hopefully with banners not having hitboxes at all (like MCPVP wool). And before anyone says to "just adapt", this is near unavoidable. When you are in a flagroom, you must move towards the banner constantly due to the fact that 99/100 times another person will be in there hitting you away from the banner. This means your cursor is constantly pointing as close as you can to that flag and the hitbox. You can't just look down or up when trying to run to the flag, hoping that you will be pushed next to it, and running around it will rarely ever let you pick up the flag, and the defense would most likely push you away before you could. This means 99/100 times you will be trying to steak or potion when you are looking at the hitbox whilst running to that banner, and when you are next to it, you can't throw a potion down to heal yourself, or soldier climb away.

    Banners should be dropped entities, like banner items.

    Honestly, banners were a huge waste of Nom's time. Banners are one of the biggest, if not the biggest, complaint of CTF in and out beta. If you need to put this much effort into changing 1 block into another block, there's no point in doing so.

    - ghost capping is the worst mechanic in the history of gaming
    - u need asassins to clear out high def flagrooms
    - chemists have a vast healthpool anyway a nd u know it
    - its difficult to follow soldiers in a high flagroom w/ no pyro

    to reiterate: good

    1. Ghost capped my should be prevented by the map. It's easy to do.
    2. But this means you can't block an assassin on offense.
    3. Chemist will receive its nerf, and when it does, this needs to be fixed
    4. Soldier is the ONLY way to beat a pyro/ninja/heavy defense. We can't nerf that class until we nerf pyro.

    - Ghost capping isn't effected by the hitbox whatsoever.
    - If assassins can take out a big defence, that's a problem. If 1 person can take out 5 people in 2 seconds, that's way too powerful.
    - Doesn't mean it shouldn't be able to heal in the flagroom.
    - And that's why any good defence has a pyro.

    Many times I will throw my pearl, but I will not be able to due to the fact that the banners will not allow any right click action

    Ghost capping means you throw a pearl, then run to the flag and pick it up. Pearl capping is when you throw the pearl as you're picking up the flag (at least I think so).

    Ahh, I consider ghost capping anything with premature pearling, but I see your point, and it doesn't affect caps like that
