Intincrui's Camping Guide

Hey guys, in this guide I will be going over camping, when to do it, where to do it, and how to do it. Camping is a very useful strategy and is how most elite players get kill streaks. So, listen up, find a spot and start camping!

When to camp:
Camping is most useful in infect (duh) TDM, and CTF. I would not suggest camping in either gun game or FFA because you can be very easily snuck up upon and headshot.

Where to camp:

-Infect
When camping in infect a place off the ground where you can only be attacked from one place is the ideal camping situation. This is because the zombies can't reach you (watch out for c4s and grenades) and can only attack from one side, which you can Ray spam or mini-fun. Towers can work, but I find them often hard to defend because they are usually also popular with other players, and with other players, also comes shot blockers. If you decide to camp on the ground, that's not a bad idea, but it can be hard without the Ray or mini guns. Try to stay in a corner so you can't be snuck up on, and make sure you're covering the left, right, and middle.

-TDM and CTF
In TDM and CTF, the fastest, most effective way of getting kills is head shots. Because of this you're always going to want to easily get headshots in your camping situation. For example, and block with a slap on top works perfectly, you are always guaranteed a headshot, and you don't have to move (watch out for sneaky snipers). Make sure you always have two spots on each map you decide to camp on, I will explain why later. Also make sure that your team is providing cover when camping, then you can focus on getting kills and not other players.

How to Camp:
Camping is about being resourceful and quick thinking. Use your tacticals and lethals to catch enemy's off guard. And remember you are not required to stay still if necessary pop out to make a kill. You should always have 2 spots on a TDM and CTF map so if you kill a pro, they will most definitely come back looking for you (I would). If you kill someone like this then it's best to move to your other spot.
