Banners with their Hitboxes

At first I didn't care about the banners, but after their hitboxes got in my way, I changed my mind, they're awful.

 

Nom I know you like banners, but #wool

 

I really don't care about the banner/wool debate. It hasn't bothered me much at all.

 

Go archer, make the hardest read on the chemist, and rip chemist.

 

The crap in that small phrase... Hahah xD

 

You also can't do that pick up the flag from half a block away trick anymore I just noticed it.

 

Its possible to have no hitbox, its the nametag that causes the issues. Remove "Red Flag" and "Blue Flag" and you'd have no issue anymore.

The red/blue flag name thingy is definitely not needed. If it is causing the hitbox, I would be very happy to have it removed.

Maybe we could have a pink/light blue banner if the banner is taken instead of an white one?

 

IDK, maps are already colored enough. It's obvious what flagroom it is.

 

If you wanted to still have the name tags, spawn the armor stand up 100 blocks then set name lower.

Yes this is one of the few remaining problems with banners besides the flag radius but that is another thread. It would be nice to have it fixed.

 

Firstly, it is not because the name tag is an armor stand. The banner is also an armor stand. Nor is it due to any sort of hitbox - the name tag does not have a hitbox, just like the banner doesn't. The REAL problem here is that Minecraft is stupid about entities and decides that you are interacting with something - which I can't change. However, due to the fact that the banner is the helmet of the armor stand, not much of the armor stand is visible to block your view. About 20% of the flag blocks hits even without the name tag. But for now, I will remove the name tag. @Skarm I have no idea what you're talking about. If you would like to share, please go ahead.
