Pyro does not take LESS skill than assassin imo. It's comparable

 

Assassin is for noobs

 

I think the reason that many people complain about assassin is that they block - and the assassin still gets them, which is down to ping. As an EU player with bad ping, that happens to me, and the best way to counter it is just to get over it and block as you go around corners or out from archways where assassins could pull off aerials.

 

I agree, assassin does take some skill and is less cheap than some other classes (*cough cough* ninjas and mages *cough cough*) but I can't believe you really think Archer requires less skill than Assassin bow that's just over doing it.

I do kinda agree with that, however ^^

Ninjas are certainly not cheap, but I have to agree with @Deplicasus that mages can be a pain in the *** and so can assassins, but they still take quite a bit of skill. Archer, however, all you do is point your crosshairs at something, hold right click, release right click and boom, you got a kill, hooray!!! I understand that aiming it and predicting where it's going can be hard, blah blah blah, but there is really nothing much to it.

Anyway, we're supposed to be talking about assassins, correct?

Honestly, I don't have any problems with Assassins. The only thing I get irritated by is when they abuse spawn prot and /assassin. ._.

 

I tend to only use assassin when I get into sticky situations. For example, defending. I only do /assassin when tons of players enter the flagroom at once, just to get rid of some that may cause damage. Also, when I see medic teaming. I have to get rid of that problem as fast as possible. Otherwise, I don't like using it for pleasure and kill whoring.

You on the other hand main assassin which, in my point of view, isn't a talent.

 

Same. I don't use it for kill whoring or for pleasure. I use it for defending against Medics, against Medic teaming, or when tons of people raid the flagroom.

 

What exactly is skill when it comes to this game?

 

Skill - "the ability to do something well"
Based on this definition, it doesn't exist.

I said both of those yesterday; I didn't actually mean it - I was just being facetious because I main assassin and like to mess with people Was it Postsv who started the topic? I think it was we were in the same game. Sorry if it annoyed you.

I believe it is the blocking, as I myself am a assassin main, and I doubt I would complain against my own main.

 

To be honest, I 100% agree with this post. All ctf classes take skill and experience to play correctly, or the brawl staff would remove them from the game. And as the old saying goes, if you can't beat em, join em. Play as assassin and see how people counter assassins. It's really immature to call people noobs just for having/using a class.
