CTF ban hammer timer needs to be reduced this is to much (PLZ for once don't move)

Well, if it's not a very accurate system then it probably shouldn't be handing out 12 hour bans to people who aren't breaking any rules.

 

Anyone remember when auto-ban was 8 minutes?

 

i get that 12hrs is a bit much but i also feel that anywhere in the minute area is too little. maybe an hour or two is good, that way you dont have to wait an absurd amount of time but it can still keep the hacker away

 

but what good is 10 minutes thats actually nothing - and some people cant wait 12hrs waiting an hour really isnt a big deal lol...at least u dont have to wait half a days time, 1hr is a good compromise

 

True, I've been banned for "hacking" for 12 hours when I didn't even hack, but I made an appeal, so yeah, you're lucking you haven't been banned for 12 hours, 10 minutes is honestly nothing.

 

but 10 minutes really isnt that long and they will most likely come back for those 2-3 minutes. i dont know about you but i much rather them be gone for an hour then 20 minutes as probably over an hour they will lose interest and go somewhere else, 10 minutes isnt a long wait and giving them that 2-3 minute time for them to wait another 10 isnt better, i'd rather them gone for an hour.

 

yeah but do you realize how long it actually takes to get banned for a year??? id rather them to just be banned in 1 hour intervals rather than 10 minute intervals that gradually increase like every two times, in which they will still return quickly those first couple of times.
