    Mods always say to me that they don't have the permissions to give people gamemodes (/gamemode 3 for example), why isn't this getting a change.? So people can spectate matches so people can enjoy a match whilst not playing in it.. Can this be a possibility for mods to do? @Lord_Roke (Forum Watchdog), if not, can the developers maybe figure out how? @ThaRedstoner @Decelvice @NomNuggetNom @More

    I think i'm not the only one who wants this, please post your opinion down here \/

    I'd say they code a command called /set spec (IGN)
    This gives the person the ability to fly and be invisible only.

    This was a thing in old matches. Not sure if it would be reimplemented.

    Not gonna happen, to be honest.

    I agree for any gamemode where there's long-term elimination, heck, probably not even WarZ. But in CTF, Mc-War, it's no problem,

    This was posted about somewhere else I don't remember but my idea so that people can't cheat. Make it so that when the person that is in spectate mode can only talk to other spectators. block there chat to in game people both public and private as to keep people's position secret

    But that would allow people to block their friends from hits and that would have to be coded out and in spec mode they can just tp to flag carriers and send info to their teams

    Really? I don't think giving away info is a problem. Ninja can serve the same function. Only for the match server would I agree with you, as those matches actually count for something.

    Information sharing isn't a major problem in casual CTF matches. It just isn't. Disable them from team-only chat and it's even better. The minor difference they could in theory make in a game is not enough to justify passing it over for all the benefits it would provide in addition to the fact that theese matches are CASUAL.

    Brawl could setup a application so that players would need to be approved in order to spectate. So that it'd be mostly Youtubers, Streamers and respectable players

    They can easily disable chat for spectator mode, if sharing info really becomes into a big problem.

    TS, Skype, etc.. But ye, people like @November @Lugia_ are trustable so people like them can stream/record :grinning:

    if we can get spectating working, i'd be willing to stream.

    however, if spectating is allowed, it shouldnt be allowed to everyone. those people that come in like two minutes before it starts begging to spectate cause problems. if there will be spectators, it really should be just for those who record/stream, as that makes the most sense.
