Guide-Play like a Boss!

Sup Peeps,

I created this guide after reviewing a lot of different ones to provide a fresh look at War. I looked at other factors and areas that are often overlooked.

Setup: Precrushing everyone

1. Install Optifine - this can help speed up your FPS.
   
   
   
2. Connect to a large monitor or a tv so you can see everything much more clearly. You can buy cables that will allow you to connect your laptop to a tv or monitor.
   
   
   
3. Make sure you aren’t using wifi, connect to the internet with a cable.
   
   
   
4. When you login go to the start menu/type task manager/click applications tab/right click Minecraft/select go to process/ it will highlight Minecraft right click and set priority to high.
   
   
   
5. Shut down other applications like the browsers when playing.
   
   
   
6. Use a texture pack that has helpful aiming sights. I recommend Evil-licious 5.0 Avengers Edition. This makes it easier to see targets
   
   
   
7. Buy Scavenger, Ray (for infect), fast Reload (if you love the ISO), nades, and molotovs.

Setup: Pregame Checklist

• Look at the Map and if you are organized refer to your list of weapons that you like to use on individual maps. (there are other guides that address this)
• • Is it a sniper map?
    
    
  • Are the spawns close or far apart?
    
    
  • Who’s playing?
• Are you going to go Serine (Diamond armor and Minifun)? @Serine1002
• Are you going to go @Striker_Sly and use the ISO?
• Are you going to go Evil and slap on armor to take your DISSA?
  
  
• Think about using armor, this can save your life.

Setup: In game

1. Never stand out in the open.
   
   
2. Creep around corners and on steps.
   
   
3. Don’t stand in doorways or windows.
   
   
4. Flank from the sides and separate yourself from others. This makes it difficult to shoot you and single you out.
   
   
5. Advancing, never advance in a straight line. Serpentine and go from side to side as well as take cover.
   
   
6. When retreating, toss nades and molotovs to cover your retreat. It helps to also walk backward while facing forward in case you are pursued.
   
   
7. Shooting angles. Always spread out and don’t bunch up with other players. Also, use angles to make it difficult for others to shoot you back.

 

Once you try the Ray you'll appreciate it. I still use the ISO and DISSA on infect but that's just to work on my sharp shooting for when I play @tyuioblitz.
