Complete [CTF] Floating Clash

    CTF Map Submission
    Map is still somewhat in progress, minor details.


    Map Name: Floating Clash
    Style: A floating city of the future in the midst of a war. I based the map on a map from a game I used to always play.

    The map looks great! I like all the detail put into it. My only concern is the amount of void in it ( which isn't necessarily a bad thing) +1

    Look's really cool from the screenshots.

    Try making the map 10 times smaller, I feel like it's too big, unless you have some big sponges. Also, don't make the flagroom have lapis, it's a spawn block, unless spawn blocks are diamonds, GL ^-^

    The map looks really nice but there are a couple big gameplay issues i'm worried about
    1. The map is HUGE. A good sized map can fit in this map's midfield.
    2. The big structure in the middle has no sponges or anything up to the top, so Soldier/Ninja/MaybeElf will be able to abuse it.
    3. The big structure's base is hollow, which means it is structure glitchable.
    4. The flag structure doesn't have monster eggs which makes them vulnerable to overpowered structure camps in the flag.
    5. The flag structure feels like i'm navigating a mirror maze. It's extremely confusing and difficult to move around in.
    6. Flag only has 3 difficult entrances
    7. Flag area only has 3 tight walkways
    8. Flag is headshottable
    9. (minor issue) The 4 water pockets in flag are ineffective and take up space.

    Overall I really love the creativity put into this map and the awesome Divinity's Reach feel but the gameplay is really broken right now. -1

    Good Stuff
    • Looks stunning
    • Nice flagroom
    • Lots of archer coverage at mid
    • Spawn is a decent distance away from the flagroom
    Bad Stuff
    • Way too big - this alone makes it unfit for being in the rotation in my opinion
    • Soldier can get to the top of the mid area, making an easy camping spot
    • Quite a thin map
    Overall, 7/10. But the size needs to be reduced, or else it'll be too big.

    I kinda agree with this, the map is indeed big, but it's not the biggest map that has even been in rotation. Adding a few sponges to map can already fix this problem, but I suggest take the bridge away or make the middle a lot smaller.
    2. The big structure in the middle has no sponges or anything up to the top, so Soldier/Ninja/MaybeElf will be able to abuse it.
    I agree with this comment. I don't think it will be abused because why would you want to be up there anyway. It could only be used to move quicker arund the map. I do agree that sponges should be added.
    3. The big structure's base is hollow, which means it is structure glitchable.
    If you aren't planning to add anything inside fill it up because people can and will glitch in.
    4. The flag structure doesn't have monster eggs which makes them vulnerable to overpowered structure camps in the flag.
    Not too big of an issue, because I think the restrictions aren't added yet. But make sure to add the restrictions before the next map wave.

    Not all all issues with getting around the flag structure. Seems oke with me. Don't know why you have so much issues with it.

    Disagreed not tight, but the glass could be a bit annoying.

    True, there are multiple spots from where you can headshot it. Look into it.

    Yep they are kinda useless, but there are enough maps without water in the flagroom so not an issue.

    -Added a way to the top

    -I'm still thinking about putting something in there or not.
