    Potspam is considered amongst so many players, the value of quantity. People make statements such as 3 pots thrown = potspam, 2 of the same pots thrown = potspam, etc. NO

    Please. NO. I have a few people in mind who think this, I just have to put up with them and hold back my thoughts whenever they complain about what potspamming is and is not. If those previous statements were true, chemist would be absolutely attacked by the entire community with the amount of well-performing chemists on ctf doing what they're doing. Someone will complain at least every 3 ctf games I join because I use chemist. I'm not directly making this thread to tell everybody what I want or whatever, I'm saying that SO many people have the wrong idea of what spamming is.

    Potion spamming is the amount of potions thrown within a certain time. Spamming in general is using a certain item numerously within a certain time. Of course everyone has their own opinions on what that "certain amount of time" is. Personally, I feel that the time it takes to throw 3 potions and consider it spam is between 2- seconds. Meaning I think 3 potions are appropriately NOT considered spam if each thrown within 3 or more seconds of each other. I'll admit I pretty much don't follow my thoughts and I normally throw two potions within 1 second but that's just me.

    Now, what people think is that if you throw 5 potions in a fight, that is potspamming. Regardless of the time taken to throw them (this is an example of course). You could have thrown 2 potions in a fight, 1 at the beginning, and 1 near the end. There will always be a person in one of those situations who will still say that it's potspamming.

    LET'S ALL BE HONEST. People are really just getting frustrated with the fact chemist has debuff potions. Complaining is really just the frustration releasing to help yourself feel like it wasn't your fault for losing a fight, or taking major damage in a fight. I'm not trying to say too many people need to stop being a baby. This is just the reality. Just in order to support this thought, you can see people whom never used chemist complain about potspam. Strap them into our boots and they would potspam too with the armor chemist is equipped with.

    I'm not saying chemist is balanced, I'm not saying that chemist needs more pity, I'm giving people the idea of what spamming really is.

    tbh u shud probs wory more abut teh eggspammers imo

    I remember one time I was fighting Lks and I threw two pots at him and I rekt him and he says that I am a potspammer. LOL! Did he even see how I fight with chemist?! That is a good strategy to use against a ninja, just throw two damage pots at him then attack him with your sword, that 100 tested and proven! You guys should know me, I am a very good chemist, and I do not consider myself a postspammer. It is so utterly ridiculous how two pots is a pot spam?! And the guys who actually pot spam are not even told that they are potspammers. And also please do not pot spam first and then come out and fight with your sword, its annoying and its very ineffective, trust me with my strategy, I got a 22 kill streak with chemist!

    Chemist deserves no pity.

    People have skewed the concept of potspamming to the point that its not even a viable term. Its so subjective that I just do whatever I want because in all intents and purposes Potspamming was removed with the Magic Mechanic.

    Well if it's not spellspamming or targetting, I'm usually very tolerant of these behaviours. Like, for example, some people consider bowspamming bowspamming when you don't draw your bow back all the way, whilst I just say that bowspamming is where you pull your bow back 1/4 of the way or less repeatedly, and if it's 1/4 of the way to fully drawn back, I count it as quickdrawing, which IS DIFFERENT from bowspamming.

    *Using the most useless projectiles (eggs) multiple times.* "Those people are the real problem. :3"
    Don't go down that road.

    But to your main point, Sure I agree somewhat, but like you said this subject is largely opinionated since there's no real way to define what spamming actually means other than something happening in rapid succession. So technically using two or more pots in rapid succession is spamming.

    Why potspam is so bad...
    I guess it's annoying but so what if the other player you "potspammed" complained or the other player potspammed you.
    Just ignore it. It's a legitimate technique.

    The only time I've ever called someone a spammer is if they never use the sword. Seriously, I know not all chemists do this, but there are some people out there that I doubt they know that they have a sword.
    (Quick question: what's the point of throwing 5 poison pots at the same time? What does that accomplish?)
    I don't really have a problem with it, but I face palm every time someone is pissing pots all over the place, and it only does 1 and 1/2 hearts damage. It just seems stupid.
