What kit is the most op

Most of us do and most of us can tell it isnt much effort to get good at mage. Mage is more of an issue since mages are everywhere whilst most pyros confine themselves to a flagroom.

This poll has no credibility so I wouldn't let yourself get too flustured over it.

 

TBH Mage is UP in some situations too, it all depends. All the unjustified hate on the class for being easier than anything else kind of ticks me off. Just look at pyro. Or dwarf. Chemist took me about as long to get a hang of as Mage.

 

Don't wanna be nub or anything but here are my opinions.
Heavy, Soldier, Medic, and Pyro: depends on the map
Engi, Dwarf, and Necro: nub classes and so annoying
Archer and Mage: classes that are annoying yet I would use b/c they are fun. Mage would be a bit more balanced if it had a codlin for the damage spell.

 

Mages damage spell has enough of a cooldown to allow for it to keep enemies at range and stay alive.

 

Im surprised no one mentioned archer yet, seeing as the amount of kills you can rack up.
Is it because it has a decent skill curve?

 

OP in hands of skilled player: Chemist, Soldier, Archer
OP in hands of unskilled player: Pyro, Mage, Dwarf

Anyone in the BK chat will know my hate of mage.

Let's take a real world example >:L

Let's say I'm playing as medic...

Mage-Spams right click
Me-Webs and get's close, slapping with sword, releasing all hate and anger on the most stupid class in the game.
Mage-Lightnings me away, regenerates, spams dmg.
Me-FINALLY GETS CLOSE ENOUGH JUST FOR THE WHOLE PATTERN TO REPEAT.


I hate mage. God what a stupid class.

 

Again, go cap with it on a 20v server and then call it stupid.

 

It's not even a capping class. With your logic I could say assassin is under powered.

It was kinda funny reading this topic...if it's just me or what, but back in the early release of mage in mcpvp, didn't people think it was weak as...

Agreed. Mages are the bane of my existence.

But actually, Assassin is fairly decent at capping. I mean all you have to do is assassinate all/all strong players in the flagroom, steal the flag and then speed powder away.

 

There are only a bunch of Mages on freeday.
You haven't played recently, have you? About 80% of Pyros, lately, have been going offensive.

I wouldn't say all Mages are kill*****s. I use Mage a lot... Does that make me a kill*****?
And the Mages you described are the ones on freeday. Most people who play Mage a lot don't just spam the damage spell...

@Deplicasus I agree. If someone is smart when going for caps as Assassin, isn't all that hard.

 

Offensive Pyro takes more skill pvp wise because your constantly getting beaten down by the opposing team (which you should expect), but objective wise defensive pyro is a lot more skillful, and You have to pay a lot more attention.

 

m8 no offense but take ur head out of ur arse and breathe some reality. with chemist all u need to do is learn to hotkey, learn how to time ur pots, be ok at pvp and ur sorted

IMO ninja tajes equal or more skill than Mage.

 

There have always been offensive pyros, but they aren't as annoying/powerful as a defensive pyro whilst mage stays relatively annoying in many cases. Even so I hate Pyro just as much as Mage, it'd probably be even more than mage if I was dumb enough to be a capper

 

as ninja u just need to know how to pvp and a little bit tactic nothing more
