    Class Idea -- Nightmare
    Premium

    Class Role

    This class is mainly ranged offence.

    Starting Items

    -Iron Sword (Renamed -- Night Sword)
    -x3 steak
    -Bone (renamed -- Night Attack)
    -Bow, 1 arrow (renamed -- Tracker)
    -Bat Egg (renamed -- Nightshift)
    -Glass Pane (renamed -- Night Shadow)

    -Leather Helmet (black)
    -Leather Chestplate (black) (Protection I)
    -Leather Leggings (black)
    -Leather Boots (black) (Feather Falling II)

    Explanations

    Passive Abilities

    -This class has night vision and speed I.

    Active Abilities
      • Night Attack, when right clicked fires wither skulls that does the following:
        • When enemy is hit he/she gets blindness II for 1.5 seconds and 2 hearts of true damage.
        • The wither skulls go in a straight line and in the impact radius of 2x2x2 blindness I for 1 seconds and 2 hearts of true damage.
        • Range is 50+ blocks.
        • This weapon can be used 3 times consecutively before a 5 seconds reload (0.50 seconds in-between every consecutive shot). It will be shown in the xp bar, when one shot is fired 1/3 of the bar will deplete and so forth.
      • The Tracker is simple, by firing and hitting an enemy he/she will be marked for 5 seconds:
        • When using Night Attack it won't fire in a straight line but it will follow the targeted player (like a heat seeking missile in the real world).
        • Once shot, the arrow will be replaced by a glass pane, and once the 5 seconds are up the arrow will come back.
        • The arrow does no damage or knockback.
        • When the enemy is hit in their chat it will say twice "Warning! You have been locked on!"
          The wither skull will follow the targeted player until it hits a wall (the targeted player is going to have to run and do sharp turns) or if the skull is 15 seconds in the air it will disappear.
      • The Nightshift is the Nightmare's quickest way to move, by right clicking the egg you turn into a bat and you are able to fly for 10 seconds:
        • The bat has speed II when flying.
        • You can't attack when in bat form but you have 3 hearts of health.
        • By left clicking you can automatically turn back to player mode.
        • Can't carry/get flag in this mode.
        • Cooldown is 25 seconds.
        • This ability only works when you haven't been attacked for 6 seconds.
        • You take no fall damage if you are in the air and you left click to the ground.
        • When you are 15 blocks near the flag or 5 blocks near the enemy flag carrier you automatically turn back to player mode.
      • Night Shadow makes you invisible for 4 seconds and visible for 1 second.
        • This lasts 15 seconds.
        • Cooldown is 20 seconds.
        • The player can't steal the flag when this ability is in use.
        • They can only attack in the 'visible' time gap.

    Weak armour, good attack and ok mobility. What do you think?

    With teamwork soldier would be able to cap easily Pairos cant see the soldier then u know. Also ghosting would be op with this

    I like the concept, but It seems a bit overpowered. However, I am willing to work with you to get it down because this seems like a really interesting and unique class. First off, maybe rather then infinity, once you use the arrow, it is replaced in your inventory with a stick or something then in after like 3 seconds it returns. Also, I think this class may be a good class to give some sort of blink ability to, possibly replacing the shield making it a stealth class? Make it so it can blink once every 5 or so seconds so that they can't spam it, but it can also be used. I will post any further ideas I come up with either just thinking or in response to other comments :smile:

    To be honest, CTF is not at all in the market for a capping or offensive class. If you could turn this into a recovery class, it would get accepted easily, but i dunno if they want a capping class right now.

    This particular bit is what worries me about the class. The rest of it seems very reasonable, but I don't need to remind anyone that both ninja and assassin have weak armour, good attack and excellent mobility. Do we really need another class that does that? The idea is good, but this niche has kinda already been filled

    Well it has ok mobility as I decreased the bat flight from 30 secs to 10. So What do you suggest I improve? Ty @Kriz

    It's not necessarily the classes abilities that's the problem. I like the class. The problem is this class is too close to ninja and assassin in terms of high damage and mobility. What needs to be done is given it a couple different abilities in place of others to give it a niche. The ideas not used are perfectly acceptable for another class. I just think this class doesn't have that niche factor which a ctf class needs

    Its a fact for you and maybe others, but not for everyone. I know that most players want a new class and as Elf wasn't a complete success they want a better one.
