    It's that time of year! CTF is now more spooky than ever. This year we've gone all out. For the first time ever, CTF is no longer blue versus red. Enjoy the new food, the scary foliage (you didn't think foliage could be scary), and of course - the awesome seasonal maps! In addition to the seasonal maps, ALL MAPS are getting more a little creepier thanks to some on-the-fly Spookification™.

    Huge shoutout to @Nohox for doing most of the work on getting the seasonal maps ready to go. And of course, to all the map authors!

    As Nom didn't list the map reskins that were being added to the rotation, I figured I'd cover for him. For starters, last year's 3 Halloween Maps are returning.

    These classics are being supplemented by 6 new Halloween reskins & reworks. The community did a great job making maps for this year's Halloween rotation, so props to all of you guys! Anyhow, the new additions are as follows:

    These maps will be in the rotation in addition to their original forms for the duration of the Spooky event, although if players greatly prefer any of the Spooky versions to their original forms, then we'd be willing to extend their stay. Anyhow, thanks again to everyone involved, and hope you guys enjoy the additions!

    (Screenshots in the spoilers were taken using the Faithful 32x32 pack, and should be similar to their appearance in default, albeit not identical)

    This looks amazing! Really, really spooky and nostalgic :grinning: All the other maps are cool too and I love how even the team colors are sp00kier. But honestly, this map in particular, (Spooklock) is brilliant and nothing can possibly quench my undying appreciation of it!

    There should be a class for every holiday, like fishionista. This haloween, maybe you can play as a ghost, lol.

    i agree but just have heavy as ghost instead of adding a whole new class and having to think about balance and all that kind of stuff
