CTF maybe?

Oooohhhhh this is gonna start a flame war...

Well anyways, welcome to CTF! I'm Deplicasus, also known as Depli, Deps or Dep. In my 363 days (yep, 3 days until my 1 year anniversary) of being a CTF reg, I can assure you that CTF suffers bipolar disorder, bcuz it can never stop arguing in between the community about certain stuff. One thing we can agree on though is that @NomNuggetNom is best coder 2k15

 

It's always a good sign that CTF is enjoyable to new people.

I'm Lugia_, I play fairly often and I build maps for the gamemode. I'm also one of the leaders of The Flying Walruses, a CTF Team (I'll get into what those are in a little bit.)

What you can expect from CTF is a tightly-knit community that can be toxic at times, but amazing in the end (every community has its "bad eggs in the bunch", let's be honest.) What you can also expect is to meet some great people, as I sure did and I'm grateful for that. Also here at CTF, we have a "team scene" which is the more competitive side of CTF. I highly encourage you to join a team once you get more comfortable with the classes since teams are what brings the community together. It's also a good idea to have a Skype, which is the main source of communication.

This is a complete personal opinion, but I find CTF to be quite enjoyable, especially with friends. The longer you play, it will begin to become a little stale, but that unfortunately happens with just about anything. However, I've been playing for awhile now and I've found the game to be enjoyable since day one, with its stale moments here and there.

To answer your last question, you should absolutely keep playing and read more about CTF Teams. If something is fun, keep going with it.

2). Yes, it can also be infuriating, saddening, funny and a lot of emotions, depending on the context
3). Once you start playing CTF, one does not simply quit CTF

 

Just don't talk about wool around Syringe.

 

Expect moments when you feel like quitting. xD
just keep in mind that it usually gets better and no one really usually completely "quits" anyways .. just look at how many people comment about how they're back since X amount of time..

 

Well, generally we have a very closely knit community that loves itself and ostracizes others. My advice is to have fun, make some friends, and once you're used to the game, then start doing things like making maps.

Hey I'm ace! I'm an archer for The Blue Flaggers. I would suggest looking at some of the class guides to get a better feel for the game (if you plan on staying on this phsycotic train ride). And yes, once you've developed, apply for a team. Just not delto farce, they don't accept anyone xP. One more thing, don't say *** instead of class. Those who say this word are punished via endless streams of chat flame. /gl good luck! ^-^

CTF is a great all around experience. You can make firends with random ppl. You can play were ever yu want on a team and still have fun. CTF is very fun and addicting
