How to Forgive People

Well this is an interesting type of guide. o_o

I agree that people need to forgive and forget, I mean it is a minecraft server and it's just a gamemode. Why get so pissed over it?

People make mistakes, everyone. Just remember that you're mad a person not a pixel. Try to forgive and forget <3

 

A conversation is all it takes. This past summer, my best friend (at the time) and I got into a huge dispute. We didn't speak each other for two whole months and one day I decided to talk to her. The conversation went something like this.

Me: Hey.
Her: Hey
Me: It's been a while.
Her: Yeah
Me: Before I go on, would you like to say anything?
Her: Yes, *******. I really don't know what I did wrong to make you hate me but I want you to know that I missed you so much. I'm really sorry and I hope you can find it in your heart to be my friend again.
Me: Well, I missed you, too. I don't think that we can just throw our memories.
Her: Does this mean we can be friends again?
Me: Of course.
Her: ugwpgosuysfufyofscwcysdywwy

Well, that last part was a bit exaggerated, but you get the point. Moral of the story is: if you ever get in an argument, grow a pair and apologize.

Well I'm glad it worked out for you, because something like that happened to me. However, it didn't work out that way. I want to find the courage to talk to her again like you did - how can I approach this?

 

Deps you know in which situation I am and I agree with you, yet I disagree too. Some persons have done something that will stay with you until the rest of your life, a wound in the heart that will never cure. Oppositely, what you said in the call was correct, we should all learn to forgive. But I think it's simply the nature of mankind not to forgive certain people. However it would make a lot of things more complicated, some things simply cannot be forgiven in my opinion. Many think the same about me and my previous actions, which I still regret, and they never have and probably never will forgive me, same as I will never forgive some other people.
Conclusion: if everyone would follow this thread (even me) the world would be a much happier place.
