This is my apology for 3-4 years of my...well stuff.

Okay that would be stuff that is over the top. But I honestly don't remember him like that. It's his in-game raging I'm aiming on.

Edit: And if he apologizes for those kinds of things (which I believe to be sincere as I haven't seen stuff like that from him), I don't see the neccesity of holding a grudge

He's pretty liona tier but less funny on the ingame standpoint.

In the end, this thread is asking for forgiveness over everything he's done (this is like the 3rd one too). I don't know about others but after harassing girls for nudes, false suicide, constantly threatening people and overall denseness I can't forgive boom for what he's done. The dislike he gets is far too deserved for what he's done and he's made little effort to improve. He may not ask girls for nudes anymore, but to consider that an accomplishment is absurd.

 

He has apologized countless of times in the past before and just shows his old behaviour the next day after he posted the apology. I don't think his apologies count anymore.

 

I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm saying that boomdrone obviously turned from behaviour like that

 

his friend (bostonbruins1251) made a thread about saying how disgusted he was with the community back on YAF on mcpvp. then basically the entirety of the mcpvp staff got involved and admins locked the thread and any thread that was made about it was deleted. he was lying though obviously

 

Perhaps but I must admit they do make for some highly entertaining drama

As for Liona, she isn't a horrible player like many assume. She just trolls people a bit. The mute is undeserved in my opinion.

Moral of the story: boomdrone's been bad in the past and it's not worth trusting him outright because of one post. I doubt anyone here will hold a grudge if he legitimately does change his ways in the future but nobody's holding their breath.

Honestly dude, I'm through trying to believe you. Never have you one time held on to a positive attitude for more than a day, and you've given me no inclination to believe that this will be any different. I've tried to help you in the past, given you tips on how to calm down, everything answered with hate, anger, and cussing. You even told me to leave the game entirely. Cussing and all that I can take, but telling me to stop doing something, from being with some friends, from having an escape from the real world, that's where I draw the line.

I've had it, dude. You've been disrespectful, hateful, arrogant, and just a downright jackass to everyone on this server. Spewing crap how the "mods are corrupt," how everyone's against you and how everyone hates you. You did that to yourself. It's your own fault. No one else made you that way. Not @Snowleak14 , not @kamil302 , not anyone. You chose to react that way to a joke/troll and become that way forever. Actually I doubt even that made you like this. You are in charge of yourself, you choose how you act towards others. Saying people hated you because of your "archer skill?" Bullcrap. Yea, archer's annoying. Archer sucks. It'll make people want to get rid of you because you're killing them so much. But it won't cause them to hate you. I shoot a hella lot of people. I think it's best to show the players you've changed. Wether that's on your main or possibly an alt.

This really is quite interesting because this pretty much proves that you won't stay nice for very long at all. There were many different ways that you could have responded to that post. You could have respected his decision and tried to convince the others if you were truly sorry for what happened. Instead you respond starting like this: In a manner which promotes aggression and a response from @BrandinoB, possibly even trying to draw attention to this. I think this proves that this thread is really about trying to get attention rather than really apologising for what you've done, and I think it also proves you're not sorry at all

Again, completely in line with the first bit, this is promoting aggression and response to get attention. However, I think there's a it more to this. This really shows the anger you have inside yourself. You blame brandino, following up by then telling him he should have shut up. Both of those actions would have never happened by someone who was truly sorry for what he had done. He would be apologising and trying to think of ways to fix these transgressions. In the end though, it was your actions that caused people to become angry at you, and begin to hate you in the first place, as Brandino has already said. You can say sorry as many times as you see fit, but at the end of the day, people will simply stop believing you. I believe that's the situation here. I think it's all very well saying the frankly empty words, but now I think the ball is in your court to actually prove to everyone that you are truly sorry and mean to change. Right now this thread is nothing but empty words, and it'll stay like that until you do something to change that

No no no no, Boom you're trying to put the blame on others. It isn't them. You control you. When I tried to help you, I didn't go over what made you mad. I didn't know, I didn't care. You were having issues, I wanted to try and help you. All I said was "bro try playing some defensive heavy for a bit, it might help you cool down. It usually works for me, you die less and people target you less."

You didn't respond to it very well. Nothing in my message would have provoked anyone else but you. You chose to react that way. It's. Your. Fault. Not accepting that it's no one's fault but your own shows that you really aren't willing to change, and for that you will never be respected or taken seriously.

 

Boom, if you really want people to forgive you I'd suggest you don't insult people constantly, as you've already done quite a few times in your (apology?) post. I would also try to actually show people in game/forums/skype etc. that you really have changed. One (or three) forum threads asking for forgiveness won't change people's feelings about you, you actually changing will.

How the **** is forgiveness so difficult for some of you? I can see nobody in the right in this entire thread except for -- believe it or not -- boomdrone. This is, as much as I hate to say it, a forum on a block game. This is an apology written by perhaps the single least credible person in this entire community. Nobody should take the effort to care.

I guess my question to all of you is "How can you even be angry at this guy?" It has no rationale; if you want someone to stop doing what they do the last thing to do is be a polarized idiot. But alas! None of you can seem to find the decency to take boomdrone for who he is: a misguided, socially inept soul who, despite countless cases of unnecessary hypocrisy, just wants some forgiveness for the millionth time. There is a degree of vulnerability that someone like this has, but you guys see it fit to unironically sh-t on him because he has somehow managed to get on your nerves.

For all my years here in this community, I have made efforts to not criticize the community as a whole because of how truly remarkable it is and how great it has been to me. There is not a single person in this circle (literally, try to name names) with whom I seek to have bad relations, because kindness is intuitive. Forgiveness is a reflex. Anyone who takes the path of greater resistance, who sees it fit to take the effort to irritate and be irritated, needs a break from the keyboard.

So if you've for whatever reason refused to forgive boomdrone by default or if you find fun in picking on him, I urge you to rethink. You're part of the problem.

TL;DR: boomdrone is not a rational human being, or at least his internet persona isn't. Your attempts at anger and refusal to forgive even the stupidest of apologies are not only testaments to your own ineptitude but also serve to exacerbate the problem.

First off, hi.

I'm actually going to wait to see how other people argue this point, because while I can argue it (and would love to), I'm not exactly inclined to attack or defend boomdrone. Suffice to say that I can debate this point, and I will debate it, but I'm not likely to do so unless others don't step up and defend themselves first.
