    Okay,
    1. A pyro sets you on fire.
    2. If you kill the pyro before it kills you (while you're on fire)
the fire stays, even though the pyro who set you on fire is dead.

In my opinion this should be fixed so that, if you kill a pyro while you're on fire (from that pyro), you are no longer on fire.
Just like, if an archer shoots an arrow, but you kill the archer before the arrow lands, it disappears.
The same should happen with pyro, so that the fire disappears.

Well actually, in my experience, their has been times where I would be immuned and times where I would still take fire daamage. Their is obviously a glitch, but this isnt a huge concern for the moment. I know it could be a problem for some, but for now we will need to deal with this until the Devs have time for this.

You can't really compare the pyro's fire to an archers arrow. That's kinda like saying if the pyro lights you on fire and then dies, then the archers arrow that's lodged in your neck should disappear once they die. Not that the arrow disappears after it has been shot, because its still an entity belonging to the archer at that point, however the fire is not; It now belongs to the player who is being affected. The arrow does its damage when it hits, but fire is overtime damage, however long it may last.

If this should be true for pyro, should the poison effecting you from a chemists potion instantly go away if you kill them? Or any other effect, such as blindness or slowness, that is applied from any enemy player?

You have a fair point, however the aim of pyro is to set you on fire in order to insta-kill you- not to kill you. Surely, if that pyro has died, the fire should go too, because the chances of dying from the main aim of pyro is gone. Regarding slowness and poison, they don't go on to kill you. Although poison hurts you, it's unable of killing you.
