    If anyone is still unaware, Ninja's sword has now been changed from sharpness 4 to sharpness 6 as it was before the transfer to brawl. Personally I'm enjoying it like a fox in a hen-house since I can finally kill things on my own again. Now apparently according to Nom's post there may be some extra tweaking that could mean rather..anything at this point. So how do you folks feel about this? Do you hate it and want it reverted? Is it not enough and you feel more is needed? Post here why you think this and lets see what comes up shall we?

    I think it was definitely needed, although the damage against a couple of classes needs to be fixed. Not sure how, but Archer can die in 3 hits (sometimes, which is really strange) and on MCPVP it wasn't able to die to Ninja in 3 hits unless the Ninja was buffed. I think the damage is messed up for a couple of other classes too, but I'm not sure on that one since I main Archer.

    I keep getting 3 shot by Ninjas when chemist. I don't know because it should be doing 2.5 hearts right?

    Ninjas could always 3-shot archers as long as 2 of the hits were crits. Are you dying to 3 crits, or 3 normal attacks?

    I think it seems op currently due to players not being used to the damage. Personally I like it, but that may be a bit biased due to the fact that I main offensive ninja. I think over time people will get used to the damage and the class will stay as it currently is.

    My full thoughts on this.

    Ninja sword nerf:
    Buffed pyro: My main example here is that in the All Stars match, just a few days after the sword nerf 3/4 pyros got a killstreak of 30+ with some of the games best players attempting to kill them as ninja. I doubt this would have happened with a sharp 6 sword

    Buffed ninja capping Less dps on defense to stop a blocking ninja. As an offensive ninja main I have recently been finding it extremely easy to get out of a flagroom with decent health, prior to the sword nerf this was difficult due to ninja having more dps.

    The sword buff would obviously have the opposite effect on those two things.

    As I stated earlier I think this is being perceived as overpowered due to the fact that people are not used to it. There were few complaints about ninja's sword strength prior to the nerf. Similarly, if heavy was nerfed to an iron sword for a few months, and the reverted back I would expect people to perceive the damage as op.

    If you ask me, it needs to be nerfed to sharp 5, now heavy without steak dies within 6 seconds.. :LL

    Regarding sharpness 5, the difference between sharpness 5 and 6 is actually pretty small. However, sharpness 5 doesn't allow a ninja to two shot a pyro with a crit where as sharpness 6 does. Not saying that should determine the entire outcome of the sword, but something I felt the need to point out.

    That's actually quite an interesting idea. I believe there are pyro/soldier/chemist rebalnces coming out around the same time in the future due to how the classes interact with each other, maybe ninja could be grouped in with them to receive an appropriate tweak.
