Ah yes, I will flip the "magical bug fix" switch. Where did I put it...

Please, if there are bugs, report them in detail. How else am I meant to fix them?

Of course, you can't. We weren't expecting it with a snap, but people are impatient and at the moment I could name several bugs, some you probably already know, maybe some you don't. Although, I don't mean to sound rude when I say this, but maybe you should find a team to help you out nom. When you have too much work to do, you normally start looking for more workers xP

Also, I'm sure there's tons of people that would be willing to volunteer to help you out.

Well I'm sure brawl can't hire and pay countless coders and they also can't really have volunteers having access to the code unless you mean a team to find bugs in game it wouldn't really work out.

That's why I said "volunteer". I already know a few people that don't care about the money, and just like to code whatever they can.

It's over there by ur foot.

But tbh I'm more about the lag than the bugs, the bugs r minor and only occasional x3 The lag makes me want to destroy something.

Please send me all bugs you know via Skype. @BrandinoB I've already worked on improving the lag (fixed some internal velocity calculations, fixed player cap), but will do more when I can.

Yeah but the problem with that is you can't let volunteers have access to the code, brawl spent what like 1000 or so dollars on the code and they probably don't want it to be open source. When they hire devs they are under some contract I would assume. It's similar to the whole ref thing where it would be much more efficient but people are either under qualified or can't be trusted. I heard when you are a dev you need to learn to code like the other devs which takes quite a while( I might be completely wrong on this but I'm pretty sure I was told this). Also brawl doesn't want any crappy coders they want good clean coders, if they get underqualified coders bugs can more easily slip in and be harder to fix.

Ahm I guess they could provide a "portion" of the code to the volunteers to see if they have any ideas on what to do. They don't reveal the whole thing to them and they also get the problem fixed. So they could just have the vols provide suggestions and stuff.

Seems like it would be way more work to get set up and have the volunteers up to pace than what would be accomplished by the volunteers.

That's true, but volunteers can still be under some contract. It shouldn't be that hard to make a legal document to make sure they don't steal any sort of private information. I mean if getting a job requires a bit of legal documents for some sort of proof you aren't a criminal, some crazy person, etc. I'm sure that volunteering and being under some contract wouldn't be that costly.

Even if they did go through with the trouble of getting a contract that would be a lot of work for just having a volunteer it would be hard to enforce a legal contract through the Internet especially if a volunteer released code anonymously which is where the trust comes in. Again getting a legal contract and taking a risk and the time taken to learn is a lot for the few volunteers that would qualify if this opened up. I don't see how it would be worth it.

Coding for a Minecraft Server which makes money off of something that they shouldnt really be making money off of leaves them in a Legal Gray Zone I'm pretty sure. I doubt they would be able to legally abide somebody to anything if it doesnt involve a salary.
