Do we need more CTF classes?

  1. Yes, we need them fast as possible.

  2. Yes, we need them later in 2016.

  3. No, in maybe a year or two.

  4. CTF doesn't need any more classes.

    Do we really need more classes? Some people say that we need classes others don't, I personally want more classes as it make the game more diverse and allows players to think of ways which the class could be good at. But others disagree, and I totally accept that some of you think that the amount of classes is enough. I am not going to give you all a long explanation of the pros and cons of getting new classes, all I ask of you is to vote on the poll and if you can comment your own opinion.

    Then we can all get to a decision about the amount of classes needed.

    We dont need more classes

    Brawl needs to put more effort into CTF and fix the dead / dying classes like Elf and necromancer and making them for fun and interactive for players (elf is fine but just hard to use) Necromancer however needs chance and it needs it soon....

    only when all the classes are balanced to eachother should they think about adding more classes
    Or they could add ALL classes they plan on releasing and then start to balance everything

    The general mindset's that we need to fix the current classes before we add more, but I think that it could be possible (and more interesting) to fix the balancing issues by adding more classes, e.g.
    Realistically, though, changes are happening very slowly since the coders need to work on other gamemodes too, which is fair enough (although it would be nice to have a dedicated CTF coder!).

    If we want to add more classes this is what we do: (although i dont think we need more)

    1. Add the classes i you want to add
    2. Complete the steps below 1-5

    OR

    1. Balance free play day and the classes
    2. Rework the current maps to fit with the new reworks
    3. Add a tutorial
    4. Change some of the game play mechanics to fit it with the classes
    5. Bring back the wool item flags!
    6. Add the classes and do the above for the class you add

    We can think and talk about new classes that we have in mind but for now, none of this will take intp effect until classes we currently have are reworked such as NECRO.

    Although it would be great to have a dedicated CTF Dev, that would have to be up to be Brawls decision.

    You can keep adding classes as long as they are original, unique and fill their own niche in the game, but if we get to a point where classes are essentially rehashing abilities of other classes, it's time to stop.

    And can we not do clickbait titles, please?

    If there's no more classes then ctf will lose some interest from players, such as me and I bet a few others. I like new stuff.
