    @girlarcher made a thread about embarrassing noob moments, but let's also share our embarrassing moments that we made even after we learned how to play the game.

    Mine happened to me 10 minutes ago. Playing Heavy on Skyglass, I stole the flag and rushed back to our flag room. With 3 hearts remaining, no Steak, and a Soldier chasing me, I toss the flag to my friendly Heavy so he can hold on to it. The Soldier walks into the thrown flag, recovs, and the enemy team caps and we lose the game. A Medic also walked by a few seconds later, so I didn't even need to throw the flag away in the first place.

    Made up for it with a cap a minute into the next game as Heavy though.

    In the PYOT match yesterday on Discovery. I was pretty unfamiliar with the map's underground since I never used it. I stole the flag in my Heavy offense endeavors and was forced to take to the underground area alone while my team was coming.

    Held them off long enough to get out and get some clutch chemist heals from @Miskey. For some reason, I thought it was on our side of the map, so thinking it was our flagroom, I ended up running back towards the enemy flag and died. I probably laughed for a good minute or so at my fukup.

    pulled my weight with a 25-12 scoreline and pretty much neutering their heavy though (as well as being dedicated pyro magnet)

    Wait Discovery has an Underground area?

    Oh yeah I keep forgetting it exists. I used it like twice as Assassin before but that's it.

    For an archer OP map it's bad TBH

    My biggest mistake? Dear lord... So, I hadn't played desert strike in a while. Right when my team recovered the flag I went to cap, so I took a sponge that I thought went vertically. It went horizontally. Into the void.

    When I think I have the flag and rush towards the other side of the flag only to realize that the other dude has the flag not me XD

    Every time I try to prema I either have the pearl land a half second before I grab the flag or I'm stuck at the flag waiting for like 5 seconds for the pearl to land and I just die.

    Occasionally when I ghost on Skyglass (or try to) I scream and curse at the map maker.

    Back when engineer teleporters were two-way...

    I attempted to telecap, but the teleporter was touching the spawn, so I died instantly. That was the last time I telecapped. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Yeah, if you're carrying the flag I think your compass should point at your team's flag post. It's confusing capping the flag sometimes.

    That's actually why I like Platforms. Don't know where you are? Look up, and you'll see a gigantic reminder!
