Tweaks Discovered [Holiday Update]

Assassins only get 1 heart back from a kill- needs to be reversed @Snowleak14

Also: (Bold is confirmed, italics is suspected)
Mage snowballs no longer freeze turrets
Mage damage does a little less damage (I HATE THIS, damage and distance? C'mon)
Engi turret range is greater than mage damage spell range (I think)
Lag has increased overall, with game speeds as low as 50% with only 20-30 players
Elf still is UP
Soldier can climb approximately 40-50 blocks on the new meter, this is straight.

 

I'll send this thread over to nom, I believe most of these are unintentional.

 

steak no longer causes you to lose sprint

 

Easter egg: Placeholders for everything and a new delay between assassin sugar use.

 

Whenever I login to a CTF server, I automatically get selected as fashionista.

 

That's just today... I hope

 

I really do hope all of these (except the steak one) is a bug...
I mean, fashionista being a default class on freeday and all is cool, but rip noobs who don't know how to change their class
...even if nether star is a thing and theres signs around telling them how

Almost all of these are bugs and will be fixed. I'll post with the update log. Fashionista is the default for today only to celebrate the new year .

 

1. Spawn regen is MUCH slower Fixed
2. Archers only regain one stack of arrows if healed by a medic Fixed
3. Assassins regain 1 heart rather than 3 when assassinating Fixed
4. Assassin speed boost has a short cooldown Intentional - just prevents you from accidentally using your speed while you're already sped up.
5. Assassin no longer regains redstone from melee kills Fixed
6. Mage snowballs no longer freeze turrets Fixed
7. Increased lag, some games unplayable Fixed
8. Default free day class is now Fashionista Was just for today, changed back to Heavy.
9. Steaking no longer cancels sprint Intentional until otherwise decided.

 

I kinda frown at steaking not canceling sprint. In the first place, it only takes a split second to steak and resume sprinting if you hold your sprint key, but 'ey it sometimes makes a difference, and at least it adds that tiny bit of technique that not every player uses.
