Idea assassin rework

    yes helo. since people are removing instakills i thought of this. it was actually meant to be a separate class but someone said it was similar to assassin so why not??/
    [Assassin]

    Purpose: A recov class that actually has stealth abilities, focuses on life steal and extra damage

    Hotbar:
    Iron Sword
    Eye of ender
    Invisibility Potion (NOT SPLASH)
    Netherstar
    Compass

    Armor:
    whatever balances it XDD

    Effects:
    ThingThatGives10 extra hearts

    Abilities:
    Magic Bar Thing! (Shown as levels in xp bar)- Acts as a supply of mana to use abilities, recharge by hitting people with your sword and natural regen
    [TECHNICAL] Displayed as levels on xp bar. Max of 100 levels. Gives 20 xp levels for each sword hit. Gives 5 xp levels every second. When at 100xp, give unbreak 1 to iron sword.

    Teleport- Right click an enemy player to teleport to them and get speed, uses 100 xp levels.
    [TECHNICAL] Right click with sword on an enemy to teleport to them. Can be used through walls. Max range of 20 blocks. Gives speed 3 for # seconds after use. Inverts F value (if facing north you now face south, if facing up you now face down) Has a cooldown of # seconds.

    Backstab- Hit a player behind them to do 2x damage
    [TECHNICAL] When attacking, if attackers F value (where they are looking) is within +/- .5 (a quarter of total FOV) then does 2x damage (Factored before armor)

    Soul Eater- Hit a player with eye of ender to give them weakness 1 and a reduced self healing with the change healing yourself at a cost of 40 energy
    [TECHNICAL] Gives weakness 1 for # seconds. Gives a debuff to attacked player that reduces all self healing by half, with the other half going to the attacker (Includes all healing [ex: Attacked player eats steak, heals 2 hearts for attacked, and 2 hearts for attacker]) Costs 40 xp levels to use. Turns into an ender pearl (non-throwable) for # seconds then turns back into eye of ender

    Cloak- Drink to become invisible, if you move fast, attack, or be attacked, you return visible.
    [TECHNICAL] Drink potion of invisibility to become invisible (No particle effects) If attacked or attack then cancel invisibility. Can move ONLY when crouched. CAN be hit by swords, arrows, anything while invisible. Cannot use natural magic regen while invisible. Can use magic infusion while invisible. Drains at a rate of 5 per .75 seconds (15 seconds total if from level 100) Turns into glass bottle after use. After # seconds returns to potion of invisibility.

    Magic Infusion- Crouch and block with sword to regen health at a cost of magic
    [TECHNICAL] Crouch and block with sword to regen health. Regens 1/2 a heart per second while draining 10 xp levels. Can be used while using cloak. (Total of 5 hearts in 10 seconds if used with 100 xp levels)

    Sturdy Hits (idk)- All hits deal no knockback to the attacked
    [TECHNICAL] No kb is given to all attacked players by this class.

    Pro Level Strats (What I was thinking when I came up with these abilities)-
    Your teleport combined with your backstab does massive damage and surprises the enemy. Try to refill your magic bar when you attack to run away and then teleport back for the kill.

    Your soul eater gives the enemy weakness 1, use this to make the enemy use steak and heal you too.

    Be careful if a player notices you, it's hard to run away if you deal no kb.

    Player with flag out of reach of your team? Teleport and knock him back into your team.

    Soldier camping? Teleport to surprise them.

    Your magic infusion works while cloaked, but for less time because they both drain your magic at once.

    Trying to attack the enemy base? Use your cloak to get past midfield.


    Then again, this is just some cool concepts I thought of. I designed them with fun in mind, rather than balance. Some were just thrown in because I thought as a stand alone class it needed more, but any 1 of these concepts could be fit in with the current assassin to make it better

    So basically get mana by hitting crap, use mana to use abilities?

    well yes if you are writing how to play assassin for dummies, that is all this concept basically is

    Hmm I like some of the ideas but it seems really complicated and there is by far, too many abilities.

    Also the ability to tp to enemies seems a bit OP
