Outro Goodbye, been a nice 3 years

Oh boy. Can't believe it's only been 3 years...feels like a lifetime. CTF was the first server I ever played on. I remember when I just started playing; everything was so fresh and new. It was a blast. Then as it went on, I got really into it and played almost everyday. It was great.

But a lot's changed in 3 years. A whole lot. I remember when 2 medics teamed up was invincible, I remember when engineer was like the most OP thing in existence, and I remember when the flags were wool instead of, you know...actual flags . I've made a lot of friends on this server, but also a lot of enemies...which is the main reason I'm leaving. I'm sick of getting treated like crap. I try to be nice, helpful, friendly, and an overall good teammate, but evidently that isn't enough. I've just grown so tired of being treated so disrespectfully. It also frustrates me because I have no idea really what I've done. What more can I give? And I know how cheesy and lame that sounds, but really! Why don't you just tell me exactly how to act then. And I know I get mad a lot, but part of that stems from what I just mentioned. Yeah, that's something you should know about me. I don't like being bullied, it makes me mad. I even changed my name because all these people were whining about it and calling it stupid, but of course that didn't help. I mean really, a NAME shouldn't be that important. Do you really think I have that big of an ego? Do you really think I think I'm a "cool kid"? Geez. I've also had people (only a couple) send me death threats and make fun of the time I was depressed. Telling me I should've slit my throat, or drowned myself, or whatever horrible stuff. Oh, yeah, that's also something you should know. I have severe anxiety and some depression, so getting all this hate doesn't help with that. Anyway, yeah. Now, usually I can shrug off hate, but when it's all the time it gets to you after awhile. Some of the hate I get is petty trolling, which I just roll my eyes at and it's over with. Then some of it is actually pretty mean, which sometimes, really depends, but sometimes I can shrug it off. Then, every once in a while, you get the one guy...the one guy who's just plain cruel. Not gonna name him, but there was a guy who was sending me death threats and telling me to kill myself at one point. I was literally in tears after that. I've been depressed before and have had a friend commit suicide, so hearing suicide jokes really is not OK with me. But, anyway, enough about that.

Another reason I'm leaving is because I'm sick of change. And don't get me wrong, change can be good, and it usually is. Let me stress that: usually. Lemme tell you when it's not. I'm sick of maps getting removed. And I understand they bring them back once and awhile, but, I'm sorry, but that's just not good enough for me. I'm sick of classes being nerfed all the time. Yeah, I'll admit, some things about the classes are a little overpowered. But, for example, removing from assassin the ability to assassinate? Why not just remove the class? That literally defeats the purpose of it. Which, actually, another thing, I'm tired of hearing people whine 24/7 about classes. They all literally have counters. Assassins and pyros are gonna happen so just deal with it. Also, whoever says assassin takes no skill is wrong. Against good players it can be extremely hard, and it doesn't even have to be good players, just anyone who knows how to block. Seriously. That's one of my major pet peeves, sorry. And, also, one thing I'm sick of is Brawl. Hear me out, I actually really, really like Brawl, I do. It's just I got so used to MCPVP that sometimes it's too big of a change. But that's a very minor issue for me. Really.

Sorry if I sound mad, I'm not trying to. Just sharing my honest opinion before I go. Also, I wanna just say a quick apology to anyone I've ever hurt, offended, made mad, or anything in between on here. I'm truly sorry, and I was most likely just in a bad mood that day, because I'm normally a happy person. And I also wanna say, thank you to all the staff for being so helpful and nice, and just friendly. It's rare to find servers with this good of staff. You guys actually care about the players. And that's just awesome. Thank you.

Alrighty, I guess that's about it, let's wrap this up. In the end, I've had a wonderful time on CTF. It's the best server I've ever played on by far, and I'm glad I got to share the experience with all of you. You've all(most of you at least ) been so awesome. Now, I may come on every now and then just to see how everything's going, but as for the most part, I'm done. Or at least taking a long break. Oh, and on a completely random note, my name is Daniel in case any of you were ever wondering...so yeah...just felt like putting that out there...

Thank you so much. You're one of the few actual friends I had on the server, and I always loved it when you were on. It really makes me sad having to leave behind all the friends I've made...but I'll probably come back, just not for a long time
