Idea Necro Weak?

    So basically I've been playing ctf for QUITE some time now..maybe since I was 13? This has been a topic i've been itching to discuss ever since I bought this class. One of the things that bothers me is that Necros are cripplingly weak. Now I know they can get op late game but common now admit it, the zom zoms barely attack when they're supposed to agro...:banghead: .Another thing i'd like to point out is how slowly you rank kills throughout the game, earlier today I decided to put down my engineer equipment and switch it with necro; it level soooo slow! Even at late game when the enemy was desperate for caps I placed a spawner directly in front of our flag for defensive purposes and still..not 1, not 2, not 3, 0 kills, not even assist points.:sour:

    Here's some helpful tips I can give you coders who plan to rework necro.
    • an item that allows the player to aggro their minions to a specific player.
    Not only will this make necro more fast paced, but it'll also be more helpful to others; and save you in the heat of battle!
    • Because of how easy it is to die; why not throw some knockback I on that pickaxe?
    This'll keep away those pesky heavy's relentlessly slaughtering you at spawn!
    • Give the zombies a permanent speed boost after killing an enemy depending on the monster.
    Necros are slow at killing early game since they're left with brain eating scrubs!:mad: (I'm not going to get into detail, but maybe someone in here can go in depth on speed stacks per kill, or something like that) This will reward the player for strategically placing their spawner in the right places, and counter players
    charging at you and swinging their sword around like an idiot.

    • Teleportation or more mobility?
    I don't know about anyone else, but these buffs seem pretty realistic for a necromancer, I mean, he can bring monsters back from the dead.

    Welp! That's all I can think of for now, maybe some of you nerds can come up with more awesome ideas, I love the necro class and would like for it to be a good class.

    • Allied Engineers can place their turret as close as they want to your necro spawner, creating a strong defensive tactic which buffs your monsters.
    Engineers will not only have an easier time keeping their turret safe from other engi's and necros but this will make the necro even stronger if they manage to kill and punish the enemy, if they actually manage to implement the 'assist kill'

    Pretty good ideas, I don't know about the teleportation though... The question shouldn't be "when will necro be reworked", but rather "why hasn't it already been reworked".

    If you think about it, Necro is a lot like an Adam Sandler movie. Its so bad it needs a total rework!

    Step 1 - Plant spawner near your flag
    Step 2 - Get opponents flag
    Step 3 - Teleport to a minion from over 200 blocks away

    Don't know if you're being sarcastic or anything, but at least we're getting somewhere.

    Very true, it's so plain and boring.

    For teleport to get more in depth, it shouldn't be op like that, but just teleport 10 blocks away with a small cooldown to be more evasive.

    I used to main Necro. I loved it, it was so much fun. Now though... it's useless. I agree with most of these things. Speed 1 on zombies would be really nice, seeing as how they're so slow. The teleportation though, I'm not super sure about. Necro has a decent amount of armor, so it can tank a fair amount of damage.

    necromancer is most overpowered class of all tbh. Needs no fix!!!


    But seriously, necro is a joke right now, and I'm sure it's one of their top priorities
