First off: aahh! Panic! It's jk/light outside of the mc-war area of the forums! Fire! Explosions!
Yes I know I'm out of my element, warz has always been an interest of mine but had been put off over and over again in favor of other games, or mc-war.

I understand there is a humanity system that dictates the kind of survivor you are, and that doing "good" things gives you a positive humanity score. I wanted to ask if there was any tips you could give me for surviving warz server 1, getting a high humanity, and otherwise what I should be trying to do.

I've been reading through guides and you guys do a fantastic job of breaking this down, I just want some direct thinking toward my present situation and how I can improve it. For example, should I fight in self defense? I haven't taken a life yet primarily because I want to take down bandits not white names, thus gaining humanity rather than losing it.

You should try to progressively get alive at each zone.
    Zone3:
Ex: Full leather, five seven, famas, m590, 16 pasta, 32 beans, 16 barb, wire cutters, 64 ammo for each gun.

    Zone4:
Full iron, awp/msr ammo, et cetera.

    Zone5:
All t4s except barrett, Full iron, stack of pasta and a stack of beans, etc.

Zone6: Well, you know what to do.

@Lightwielder. Considering that the majority of the WarZ community either disregards the humanity system or uses blood bags to keep their humanity up, no matter what you are trying to keep your humanity as, you're going to have to fight a lot of the time. To my knowledge, killing a bandit does NOT decrease your humanity a significant amount, whereas killing hero DOES. if you had to pick and choose your fights, bandits would give a less significant effect than heroes would.

    Also, to survive server 1:

    1. Try to get a good spawn at first (As west as possible). This is IMPORTANT. You want to spawn near army camp, if you don't plan on making the run to nether (or whatever it's called).

    2. LOOT, BRUH. Keep in mind, you should only have one set of guns. Try to find a combo which works well for you (Barrett spas, spas m10, AK barrett, etc) and try to get the guns needed for that combo. If a barrett is NOT in that combo, you're going to want to stay in close quarters, as your main damage will be coming from shotguns, and an AK spray from mid-long range would probably just waste your ammo.

Having only one set of guns is important. This is because if you have more than one set, the other ones are just taking up space in your inventory, which you'll want to keep for the necessities: barb wire, cutters, food, ammo. I'd recommend leaving specific spaces in your inventory for each of said items. I personally devote the leftmost column in my inventory to shotgun ammo, the two columns to the right of that to auto ammo, and the column to the right of that to sniper ammo. It's always nice to have at least one ammo in all of the slots for each ammo type, as you'll be able to pick up ammo on kill without having to sort through loot.

    ARMOR: YES.

Diamond is nice. Don't wear it if you're not fighting. Keep an extra set of iron armor on you to replace any diamond you have when you're not fighting, so the dura doesn't go down. This is especially important for you, as you're a white name with no access to enderchests.

    3. You're going to die. This is an important aspect of the game. You can't be afraid of dying. The good thing about servers 1-5 is that army camp is literally a thirty second run from spawn, and it's zone six, so you can loot up relatively quickly. The thing is, if you die at army camp, the person who killed you is most likely still there. So you're probably going to want to server hop, and go to server 2, or 3. Then, run up to army camp and loot up while waiting for the other guy to leave, and after you've looted up to your heart's content, run back to army camp on server one. If he's still at army, go to ANOTHER server and rinse and repeat.

Or, you can avoid that entire process and log when you see someone (or multiple someones) rushing you. DO NOT FIGHT IN MORE THAN A 3V1 IF YOU'RE NOT IN A BUILDING.

I can make a guide on how to run up on servers 6-10 if you'd like. It seems hard to people who are just joining the game and don't know the layout of the entire map, but in my opinion, it's easier than in servers 1-5. The results just take a bit longer.

Humanity doesn't matter anymore. It doesn't change the color like before and it doesn't determine skill. If a person teams no matter what humanity they and you are, they will most likely aim to kill you.

The best option would be just to keep going North to get to places with better towns. Practice aiming and combing so you can kill people with good loot. Learn to strafe, very important.

This got to me but do you realise some or most white names are bandits. This is not DayZ, there's the 1% who are not bandits and heroes (I was a hero at one point but it was pointless) now I'm sitting there on my whitename account with -1.6million humanity (or something). I'm interested though, I would want to comeback to assist you but I would label myself as a target. :V
