Squad [Squad] LGBT+ Squad

TBH I was kinda a driving force behind this, because I saw ash's skype status and got curious. I never meant for this to be a divide amongst the community. What I know and have experienced, online and IRL is that talking to someone who isn't like you is hard. They don't fully understand what you are going through. Actually, we used to have a tiny Muslim chat, it was never advertised because its so small (its also died out most of us have left CTF). The idea behind this chat, at least my idea, was so that we can help each other out, talk to people similar to us and who understand what we are feeling. I understand that others are aware of this issue and may be accepting of us, but they don't know what we feel and go through. Please don't take this as a divide, its just a place for this community to hang and chill with people like them. Thanks ^.^

(BTW I don't identify with the LGBT community (though they're awesome) despite using the word "we" in this paragraph. I just wanted to give the reasoning behind why I thought it would be nice to make this).

Don't see why people have to get so mad about this when it doesn't even affect them. It's simply a group of people with the same ideas, beliefs, etc. If you want to yell at them, then go yell at churches and book clubs honestly. No need to ruin this.

I mean, don't LGBT groups usually cater to everyone? Even straights, because they could support the community? Maybe they just like being apart of the community? aarrgghh this just made me so confused... It just kinda seems like your casting them out. . . Please excuse me if I took it the wrong way, but I'd just like some confirmation on what you're trying to say here or something, if thats okay

 

tip of advice never never never even consider joking about it because there are the people who are cool about being lgbt and then there are the social justice warriors who will be on you like white on rice and its just not a good experience

 

Yea, A for Asexual, right? It could probably stand for both ally and asexual ^^
But most forums i've seen allow straights as well, so I was just confused...
Or at least, i've seen asexual forums do that. I've seen them be very accepting of everyone into the group..

Though the group can be entirely different from others so you know it doesn't really matter anyways, I guess?

Plus 1 for this idea! I actually think that this is great considering you can be around someone who is LGBT+ like you and not feel like that you're that one guy who is weird when everyone else in the call or whatever is straight, though I am not part of the LGBT community, as I'm straight myself. I can totally see the logic in this 100%. And by the way, to the haters out there, why the **** is this your problem? Like wtf did they do to you? Just because they are attracted to another gender or want to be another gender doesn't change you. You're still you. You are the kind of people that start riots and wars. Just stop for best of it.
