Now that I think about it, I think I've had that too, and Winter just made sense of it . When escaping a flag room, it's like every member of the defense impossibly speeds up and kills me while I can hardly even move, though I'm not exactly flash-blinded. But then I usually remedy this anyway by noticing whenever I slow down for whatever reason, then releasing my W and Q keys (I use Q for toggle sprint) and pushing them back down again. Just something to get used to I guess :I

 

If you use double tap W to sprint, you might have mis-timed it, or you hit a wall or block like Winter said. It happens to me too, you just gotta un-press W and do it again.

 

You don't seem to understand that I'm the only real player to still double tap W.

:/ weird. Do you try jumping much? Maybe try playing around with ninja (if you have it) and see if pearling breaks the slowness glitch whenever you get it. Maybe it could even have to do with the flag and your MC or something. (#blamebanners)

 

Psssst, pretty sure toggle sneak/sprint is illegal on brawl.

 

xD itsh nawt autosprint, that's what MC calls the sprint button. Pretty sure that's what they called it when it was announced, forget if that's what it's called in MC controls.

I think it's the CTRL key by default that does this, sprinting, I mean, you don't have to double-tap W. I alternate my fifth finger between CTRL and LSHIFT because whenever I'm sneaking, I don't need sprint - vice versa. I just constantly hold it so even if I run into walls, take damage or have some weird thing stopping me from sprinting, I just continue on

 

On the topic of sprint, for 1, I use Caps Lock for my sprint key, it's fairly easy to reach and works great. Seconds, if you're a Chemist, and you get hit by an arrow for an archer, you get 2 seconds of slowness. WHY THE **** IS THAT THERE???? ARCHER IS ALREADY DEADLY ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Ahh that makes sense now. I noticed that I've had a little bit better luck when shooting chemists then running after them and hitting them with my sword. Maybe it's coincidence, idk. But yeah, archer is already powerful enough... xD

 

Thinking about this now I do experience this alot. Whenever I take the flag it just seems like I can't run, however it turns back to normal when I get OUT of the flagroom.
