    But the reason that soldiers can make it out of those flag rooms at all anymore shows that the nerf well accomplished its goals. Competitively, I have played pyro a few times, pre- and post-nerf--it's not the worst thing ever for a soldier to make it out alive 30% of the time if your recovery team is not complete crap. Anyway, (you probably know this cuz you're a pyro a lot (I think) but) using frenzy mode a lot is the trick. It's practically instakill.

    Nope, not till it gets fixed. I seriously noticed a significant increase in people playing elf in regular games before the nerf. Since the nerf, not often does one see an elf these days unless it's one of the few actual elf mains or someone just looking to screw around (elf is arguably the best screw-around class :3).
