Is anything being done about elf?

There are rumors about a necro rework, and of course there was the long-awaited trio rework (even though they were mostly nerfs), but elf needs a good deal of love--nerfing it severely hurt its feelings, and it was already sad in the first place. I'd at least like to know if the developers have so much as acknowledged the major problem with elf, and whether anything is being done to resolve it--if so, what? As little as simply un-nerfing the wind element would be fantastic.

 

Spamming elf elements is like spam clicking any weak sword. It doesn't do crap, so you have to use it a lot more to get more results out of it.

 

True, I've been pretty antsy about elf lately. But still... look at it...

Didn't think you meant just earth element. Granted, it's a pretty good and admittedly spammable tool to slow down flag carriers, but that's mostly at short range; at a longer distance, if the carrier knows anything at all about not running in a straight line, earth element is far less effective at slowing FC's down with a direct hit with the arrow. Nonetheless, I would not argue much about it if Brawl put a cooldown on earth element, and I wouldn't argue at all if elf received its deserved buffs at the same time.

 

MCPVP managed to get ninja to go from a recovery class to a capping class--accidentally. I'm sure Brawl can intentionally give elf an actual role while it has none in the first place (besides capping, but see below).

I honestly cannot say you're wrong. That's precisely what I've been doing as of late when I want to cap on maps that require mobility and lack of fall damage. But being that Brawl will most likely not remove a class from CTF anytime soon, why not rework it?

Also, it has at least one more use other than more $ for the server: why not have some fun using a bow when you're like me and such at PvP?
