    Hello as many of you know I hate quite a few classes (dwarf, engi, assassin, mage) I feel that mage and assassin can be reworked but I think the other 2 are a lost cause. Lets be honest, playing dwarf takes 0 skill and its incredibly OP. Playing engi takes 0 skill and its op. Playing necro takes 0 skill but its such an under powered crap class theres no point in having it. ( unless we get a good rework) Its no fun having these classes in the game due to how annoying they are. Free day is hell due to the hundreds of randees playing these classes. To all the people who main dwarf engi or necro, you are a noob, please get skill :smile:.I personally believe engi and dwarf classes should be removed. Necro needs a rework DESPERATELY. ( yes i changed my opinion on necro )
    (i have in depth arguments on dwarf and engi on the dwarf and engi hate threads)
    These classes have been angering players (regulars espescially)
    Is there any reason these classes still exist?

    Issues
    1. Your the noob for calling others a noob just because of their favorite class
    2. ^
    3. Rather then complaining, train and learn to counter these classes with whatever your main is

    Sounds like you main one of these classes. Seeing as you are not very experienced with ctf ill keep this simple. You can counter them but tbh theres no NEED for these classes in the game. Id like the ctf match classes in regular ctf. No more of the "easy" classes. It would make ctf more enjoyable for many.
    And yes the gif is quite funny ^·^

    While I agree Dwarf isn't at all very situational or skill-based, I could argue about engineer and Necro. Engineer has been nerfed too many times, and how you say it's OP? The pickaxe was nerfed, turrets now have durability and die over time, teleporters are only one way, cake doesn't refill but only heals, and much more. The thing about Engineer and Necro is that, yes, there is very little skill (you might say no skill at all, but imah just conclude that it takes very little), but it takes at least a little strategy. Most engineers and necros have their turrets/spawners broken or get themselves killed because of their weak defense. This way it's crucial to put your structures in nice places, this might sound like it's map-biased, but it's also crucial to put it at some point at the map like offensive (all the way into enemy territory), neutral (in the middle of the map), or defensive (in your team's side). I could say more, but engi and necro add a new taste to CTF, not pure skill (which quite literally defines every single game in Minecraft), but rather strategy. It's just that they might need to be tweaked to fulfill that.

    I think theres a bit of hope for necro, but engi (less op than before) is still op. It provides a team acess to anywhere on the map with ease. Turrets placed infront of flagrooms and near spawns are quite annoying. Multiple engis on certain maps is hell. It takes away the skill in maneuvering through a map. Engi camp are annoying due to the tons of people camped around them. Engineers also often spam turrets aswell as spam cake to stay alive. Yes it isnt THAT op but it takes away skill strategy and fun from the game

    Actually, I major pyro and ninja, well I used to when I was one of the bigger CTF players (Since then I have left and now I'm back with Wild West). I have Engineer, but I barely use it. I get bored playing dwarf and why bother with necro. I am EXTREMELY experienced with CTF, I just figure it out rather then whining. Dwarf is countered by ranged (To slow to get to them), Necro is Underpowered anyway and Engineer can be countered by mage (Ice the turret) or anything that can sneak up on the engineer (Ninja, Pyro, Assassin) as well as head-shots (Archer, which is FREE). Also, what about those hundreds of people who PAYED FOR THOSE CLASSES... Rather then requesting them to be deleted, put in ideas for reworks and tweaks that make them useful yet resolve the aforementioned issues. I don't mean to be a jackass, but all you seem to do is throw insults around rather then attempting to resolve the issues.

    P.S., your clearly a newer CTF player, due to about a year ago when all I did was CTF, I never ONCE saw you playing any role more then that of the average newbie. (Over 6+ months)

    u hav an old ign? Cuz in those 4 years ive never seen you (im sorry i cant remember everyone)

    Like I said there ARE counters, but theres really no point in engi and dwarf being a class. When a class needs multiple classes to kill it you know its op. Its much harder for you to kill them compared to them killing u.

    There is no point in ANY of the classes being a class besides the fact that they are there to provide variety to the game, and the same goes for these 3. If you were to post a REWORK idea then I would gladly read it, but all you have done here is post a "Ug I got killed by this class so its bad, please remove it ):" xD

    Good for u, so have I. But the average player cannot. Trust me ive been killed by every class, yet u dont see me ranting about every class. Sometimes too much variety is a bad thing.

    Im not opposed to totally overhauling classes. I am opposed to thoughtless bandaid fixes that don't help anyone except people who can't deal with sucky classes, won't stop whining, and refuse to come up with an original solution not involving giving up by removing classes. Therefore,
    - 2 ^ 32
    Which is the largest integer Java can handle.

    Theres no need for reworks
    A buffed heavy can replace a dwarf while being less op in strength and more mobile, while encouraging teamwork. ( isnt ctf about teamwork)
    And without engi people will have to work together to get around ( more teamwork). I think you could make some sort of engineer like class. But ill leave the reworks to the proffesionals.

    Well, if that's the case then let's remove every single class to balance out the game because who needs reworks when I can fist someone to death for equally satisfying gameplay.

    By saying "theres no need for reworks" i meant for that to be directed at dwarf
    and engineer. Not "no reworks" in general

    Yes, but the overall statement is still relevant. By not attempting to work with a class, we might as well just concede that no class will ever be good and remove them all. Which would be stupid. But that's the logic were working with here.
    There's no reason to ever remove a class that's not insanely glitched out. It makes no sense. Each class has the potential to play an important role.

    So just because its a class now means it should always be a class? :/ if a class serves no purpose , is more powerfull then the other classes, negativley influences the general gameplay, or is just incredibly UP there is no reason to keep it.

    Might as well share my opinions. Dwarf and Necro need to be removed until they can be reworked. I was playing Chemist and a Dwarf instakilled me. That is not ok. Necro is just completely useless so yeah.

    And if it can be reworked there's no reason not to try. I'm not saying we keep all these classes in their current state, what I'm saying is that it's stupid to just say "if it's OP or UP remove it." NO! We are in the business of fixing CTF not hacking away at it. Dwarf if an integral part of defense. It still can be and not be OP with the right rework. Necro USED to be VERY useful especially on defense. Those mobs were killer. Why can't we try and get something like that again?
    Engineer IS very useful and balanced. Now, in great numbers it's frustrating, but you get a similar effect when you put 4 good mages together. It's frustratingly OP cause there's so many of them.

    If we remove everything that insta kills in the right circumstances were gonna have to take out like half of CTF

    Im willing to accept that engi can have a semi decent rework along with necro. I still dont think we need dwarf, a class that can pretty much INSTAKILL most classes not to mention it paired up with other flagroom defences. I think a reworked dwarf could just be substituted w/ a buffed heavy. Afterall theres a reason these classes are banned in ctf matches.
