    No idea at all. That was probably my favourite map to build and wasn't in rotation for long ;-;
    There's been plenty of maps that have done a similar theme (enclosed) and it is true that the majority of them have been removed. I guess it's because it was very-anti soldier. Some people also found the navigation confusing, but I guess as map creator I didn't really see that xP

    It did get the lowest ratings back in the day, the no votings being so high as 86%, only surpassed by Saixos' Xieroth Station.

    Good aesthetics don't have to equal bad gameplay.

    There are a lot of submissions with equally bad gameplay and bad aesthetics.

    Aesthetics are only an issue when something like height (map design itself), layout (map design itself), or grass or interfere with gameplay. Then it needs to be taken care of. We'll just have to see about the gameplay of these by actually playing on them.

    Re; Metro: In its current state, the map has more than 10000 uses of Block 36, which causes fps to drop significantly during melee. The map had plenty of other problems with its design, but fps lag was definitely one of them.

    Rip that map was my favorite, ill miss metro D:: *raise the ceilings pavo! raise them!*
    So blackout gets 1.6k dislikes. UNACCEPTABLE!

    Block 36 can be walked through, if it was replaced with barriers we'd risk maps breaking because of barriers suddenly appearing where you once could walk fine. Plus barriers don't work as structure restrictions atm iirc.

    There are ways to go about it...

    //replace 36 [visible replacement block]

    Then fix the ones you don't want by hand, replace the ones you want with barrier, add structure restriction blocks in other areas, re-flip the map to make sure it's symmetrical... But that's entering time-consuming rework territory.

    Actually, Ship Battle was alright

    Cruise Ship battle was rather unfavorable, that is, statistically speaking.

    But I LOVED Divergent Strike:frowning::frowning::nailbiting::jawdrop:

    Srsly that map was the perfect example of a balanced map! Its a shame others dont feel this way.
