    What if, and I know this may be shocking to some, instead of complaining about maps, you make better maps yourself.

    My solution is to make a server dedicated to testing maps that the committee has chosen. Stats will not count on this server. If there are too many negative ratings on a certain map, that map will be discarded.

    Actually, that sounds pretty fun. Playing all new maps adds something new, both to CTF in general and to everyday gameplay.

    Everyone does realize that the combination nerfs and timing of the server transitions and seasonal map releases killed the gameplay of this wave as well, right?

    It wasn't just that the maps are "overbalanced." They were created for pre-nerf classes, to include wall-spamming soldier, instakill pyro, and tanking OP chemist. Maps had to be catered to those problems.

    Map releases were halted because of the server transition, Build itself was down for a few months, then seasonal maps came out in October, seasonal maps came out in December, and now we have year-old, pre-class-rework maps.

    I agree that the speed at which maps are added and the inability to test maps is a pain. Hopefully something can be figured out.

    And edit: mapmakers will be adjusting their map styles to accommodate the class adjustments.

    Very nice points. I honestly wouldnt have a problem if the maps were unghostcapable, thanks to these maps ninja is probably the easiest class to cap with. This is not what we needed. I like the design of maps definitely, but they should of been bigger and have better flag rooms. Thats basically it.
