GUIDE- Capture The Flag : All Classes

ARCHER:
Kit: full set of chain armor - 2 stacks of arrows - bow - 4 steaks - stone sword
Information: Archer is one of the basic classes in Capture The Flag, along with Heavy, Medic, and Soldiers. They deal MASSIVE damage at the range of 30 blocks, thus insta-killing the enemy! Archers are mostly a defense class, but sure, you can use them for offense too. Midfield would be a suggestion, because for most of the time, they can spot enemies that try to get out of another's sight or enter your base.
Tips: [BEST WITH FAR DISTANCE TARGETS] Firstly, point your bow and arrow at your target. Depending on how far it is, raise your bow a little higher, continue doing so until you get a kill. When you master this, you can get ONE SHOT kill! Having trouble? Friend CosmicPanda477 and join me on any CTF match that I am on. The funny thing is that when you try to aim a player and shoot at it, it misses that target, but you somehow killed a player behind him at the exact direction of fire! That happened to me while I tried to kill an enemy, but instead I killed my nemesis, BrandinoB!
HEAVY:
Kit: full set of diamond armor - diamond sword - 3 steaks
Information: Heavy is one of the basic classes in Capture The Flag. They are the basic tactic, equally defense and offense. Heavies are the front lines soldiers, and are the highest damaging classes, but not the most powerful. They are also good defenders of flag holders, flag areas, and usually used to protect Engineers and other special needs classes.
Tips: Just act crazy, spamming your sword on every direction. You get a 50% of killing an enemy, or 50% of dying from the enemy. That is what I do whenever I attack an enemy. Although, Assassins are the Heavy's WORST ENEMIES!
MEDIC:
Kit: full set of gold armor - golden sword - 6 steaks - 5 webs [starting webs, restores later on]
Information: Medic is the most important class of the entire Capture The Flag. They can heal a member by simply hitting their sword towards the ally, thus damage the enemy. The common thing about medics is... SPAM HEAL! You can see the snowballs in your inventory, what are they? When you throw them, and when they hit an object in impact, they become a cobweb! Best for slowing down ninjas (except the fact that they can teleport), flag holders, and any enemy that you are battling against.
Tips: Always stick with a flag holder, assassin, ninja, archer, and engineer to refill their items, although you may stick with any member you want! Use a web when you fall down from a high ground! It slows you down, but it takes away the chance of damaging yourself! Use it on flag holders, run towards them, then just battle them until you die, or recover.
SOLDIER:
Kit: full set of iron armor - iron sword - 4 steaks
Information: Soldier is one of the most elusive and powerful classes in the Capture The Flag series. Soldiers are able to climb walls, best for getting away from enemies and holding the flag at the same time, but the climb ability requires a cooldown, which gives you a disadvantage.
Tips: Whenever you see a Pyro, Archer, Mage, or an Elf coming to kick your butt, climb by pointing at the block below you, right click on it, then boom! You're in the air! Archers are the Soldier's worst enemy!
ASSASSIN:
Kit: gold boots - iron sword - redstone powder - 2 sugar powders
Information: The redstone powder is also known as the assassination powder and the sugar powder gives you epic SPEED, slightly faster than a Ninja! Assassination powders are very important to maintain as they have a very short timer and they allow enemies to kill you very quick, unless you slash them in their face! Wanna know how to defend against them? Crouch and right click with your sword and, possibly, a shield should appear or your sword should face towards you more than you originally see it, then you are immune to the assassination, but they can still harm you. [cannot instant kill you, however]
Tips: Only use the assassination powder when your enemy is about 3 blocks ahead of you and they are running towards you, [or if you are running towards them] Right at the distance recommended, slash their face into smithereens! Same in the informations list, crouch and block with your sword to defend against an assassin trying to instant-kill you.
CHEMIST:
Kit: leather boots - leather cap - gold chestplate - gold leggings - 20 instant damage splash potions - 10 poison II splash potions - 3 slowness splash potions - 3 fire resistance splash potions - instant health III splash potions - Regeneration III splash potions - 3 strength & speed splash potions - iron sword
Information: Lots of people has been complaining about chemists "potion spamming"
and consider them as "noobs." Well, this is not true. Chemists actually buff their allies and fight against the enemies. WARNING: Do not buff your enemies! I have been buffed from an enemy with a regeneration buff, then killed that enemy. This is a common mistake that chemists make, so we work to improve that usage.
Tips: Do not buff anyone right when they get out of the spawn area, instead, buff the allies when your enemies are advancing on you. Approximately 20 blocks away, you should buff a member so they can recieve the power, thus not buffing your enemy.
DWARF:
Kit: chain helmet - diamond chestplate - diamond leggings - chain boots - diamond sword - 3 steaks
Information: Dwarf is one of the most important DEFENDERS of the CTF series, and VERY POWERFUL! The disadvantage, however, is that they must crouch in order to rise their experience level, which causes you to be very slow. Hold shift and let your experience rise as your level up.
Tips: This is a tip by Giggle__Fish, thank you! Wait in spawn and crouch to level 5, then exit the spawn and you will be immune to fire and potions! Also, always defend your flag at all times, keep watchful for the team's enemy, Assassin and Ninja. Pyros are also friends of Dwarf since they can catch ghost cappers with fire!
ELF:
Kit: wood sword - 5 steak - ghast tear - oak tree sapling - feather - lapis lazuli - 10 arrows - leather boots - leather leggings - leather chestplate
Information: Tons of people have been complaining about this class being a bit too OP. As you see, there are random items in your inventory, they are not just stuff, they actually give you a variety of abilities. When you hover one of the objects, that object will turn into a bow and obtain that certain ability! Ghast Tear gives you an ability to deal 6 hearts of of true damage, this is the most powerful ability of an Elf. The oak tree sapling gives you the ability of the Earth. Smash your opponent with the ITS CLOBBERING TIME dirt blocks right above their heads! Deals a massive amount of damage overhead! It also makes the opponent slow for a brief amount of time. The feather is a power of a sky! You can fling your enemies into the air or even yourself to escape the bloodhounds! The lapis lazuli is the water element. Take out the fire on yourself, your allies, and from the ground! Best way to take out a pyro's fire!
TIPS: There are so many tips here for every ability! Use the feather ability to fling yourself into the air from those flesh-eating rats! Always use water when you are near lava, pyros, fire, or an enemy dwarf [I swear, they deal a lot of damage including fire]
The oak ability, however, is a strong one and you are not immune to it yourself! Be careful when you accidentally hit yourself with it!
ENGINEER:
Kit: iron boots - iron helmet - leather leggings - leather chestplate - diamond pickaxe - 4 steaks - wood sword - stone pressure plate - iron pressure plate - dispenser - cake YUMM
Information: Your pickaxe has an ability to refill your automatic/manual turret. The wooden sword you obtain is a manual turret "remote" and point at any direction, spam it to fire tons of arrows! Your teleporters are important for you team as your allies can teleport back and forth, from and to the base. Your turret is a very ideal tool in both offense and defense positions! Your turret can be controlled by your manual turret override, or as known as the turret remote. And this is the yummies part! CAKE! Plant your cake on the ground and let it load so you can let your allies refill their health, but the disadvantage is that it does not refill their items, bring a medic with you!
Tips: Oh my gosh, this is my second favorite class! Whenever you see an enemy coming at you, plant a turret, approximately 30 blocks away from you so you can let your turret load up before you get attacked! Along with that, place your exit teleporter and cake so you can let allies pounce on your enemies! Cake is a very important item as it can heal your teammates, flag holders depend on both medics and cake! They're so yummy, that is why they heal you! However, don't depend on it to refill your items.
MAGE:
Kit: leather chestplate - leather leggings - leather boots - diamond hoe - wood hoe - stone hoe - iron hoe - gold hoe
Information: You see a random material-made tools in your hotbar. They're not just there for fanciness! They are powerful weapons, and each of them contains different elements! Your diamond hoe has the element of a regular damage spell! While you use it, it pops a firework directly at your enemy! Your wooden hoe is the most epic spell, but not to medics! They obtain an ability to set your enemies on FIRE! Mages and Pyros are best friends, along with Dwarves since they are all the fire magic wizards! Lightning spell! Use this in combination of your ice spell, fire spell, and combination spell altogether! Become a herobrine and light the sky with the thunderous lighting of danger! Your iron hoe has the second most powerful spell, along with the fire spell. Freeze your enemies with ice and contain them inside for a brief moment. Ice spell and engineer's turrets are enemies! The ice spell can warp the turret in ice, making it unable to fire damage at yourself and your friends, thus giving you an advantage to kill your freaking blood-thirsty bats! Golden hoe... wow useless... it's not useless! Heal your allies with the heal power and rapid regeneration! Same warnings of the chemist, don't land your healing power right next to your enemy!
Tips: Don't heal your enemies, like literally. Don't every waste your ability just to show off your powers! Same for chemist, don't spam your spells and you are not immune to some of your spells!
NECRO:
Kit: iron boots - iron leggings - golden chestplate - iron helmet - pickaxe - 6 steaks - spawner - 1 zombie egg - golden sword
Information: Necro is a second member of the spawning family along with Engineers! But the only difference between these is that Necro has an ability to spawn minions, which are ZOMBIES! Both the Necro and Engineer enemies are able to destroy both of Engineer's cake, turret, and teleporter and Necro's spawner, so be aware that they have the strongest pickaxes of the game! P.S. enemies can destroy your items slower.
Tips: Have a medic and engineer with you! Your zombies plus the engineer's turret will be a great combination of the battle field! Spawn your not-so-popular zombies and fight with them, heal them, and restore your turret!
NINJA:
Kit: gold sword - enderpearl - 10 chicken eggs - 64 redstone powders
Information: So sad that Ninjas don't have armor! Well, for some people, they aren't sad! They have a superpower... INVISIBILITY! Be like that Fantastic Four hero, Invisible Girl. The Ninjas have slightly slower speed than assassins when they use the speed powder, but Ninjas have infinite speed which they will never run out of! Ninjas can launch their eggs into the air at their enemies, the eggs give you nausea and blindness for a few seconds, then they will pop up in your face! As you can see, Ninjas don't have steak to refill their health, but that does not mean that they can not ever heal themselves! Their sword is a powerful weapon, crouch and block yourself with the sword, anywhere, anytime, to heal your hearts slowly! Your redstone powders are the invisibility powders! Use it to escape your enemies and your allies can see you, but your enemies cannot!
Tips: Turn invisible when your enemy is approximately 10 blocks away from you, do NOT attempt to fight them, especially heavies and soldiers! Another way of escaping the enemy without wasting your invisibility is to teleport, but the disadvantage is that they experience 2 hearts of damage, so keep that in mind! While you are teamed up with a few strong members, throw your eggs at your target and turn invisible, or warp behind them, and fight from behind while your team surrounds the target and attacks that enemy! You have 100% chance of killing that target!
PYRO:
Kit: full set of leather armor - diamond axe - 5 steaks - flint and steel - 20 arrows
Information: There has been a new update a while back which reduces the amount of damage that the pyro deals, and replaced it with a Frenzy mode. Just like the tips of an Archer, point your bow at your target, and with the maximum capability, launch your fire arrow at your enemy and set them on fire! The frenzy mode can be unlocked when you reach your maximum experience level [XP bar reaches full] then set your enemy on fire, and then go FRENZY! Act like that Fruit Ninja guy!
Tips: Do not waste your 20 arrows! This amount is reduced from the amount that the Archer has because the Pyro has a special ability. Only go frenzy when you are surrounded by your enemies that are on FIRE! As a warning, you are not immune to fire from another pyro, mage, dwarf, or even yourself!
