i mean dude im a pretty sick ctf player, i like to consider myself one if not the best ctf players. every day i log in and i play that class i like and everyone says im good. anyways i think im pretty good i am the best now that i think of it and i make a lot of sick plays you can see on my youtube channel. anyways as i said i am really sick at ctf i make all of the cool plays and everyone praises me because i am very sick ctf player. thanks. vote for me please.

 

wait wait so first theres a popularity contest basically but top 3 is decided through stats?
I mean every CTFer who has been around a while has more than 300 deaths
and stats don't even matter to judge how good you really are xD

And every player will have a different play style, main class, and role so you can't lump everyone together into a top 3 like that anyways xD

But even then its just a popularity contest so why am I going to bother ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Again ctf is not stats and focusing on the amount of kills someone has
and reasons and blah blah blah but honestly a regular would get where im coming from and im lazy here

I love popularity contests! One problem though, as stated: most good people have over 300 deaths. All of the regular players are now out of the competition, so I vote for randomplayer184719. He's super duper good!

This whole thread is a joke. Beyond a joke this is probably the biggest meme thread ive ever seen. More than 300 deaths? Dude you eliminated almost every player on the server even the rand33s. That right there is quite the backwards idea on who you believe to be skilled. I can't even vote for anyone based on that criteria xDxddDDXd. Just close the thread there isn't any point to this popularity contest crap except to gawk at and ridicule it.

 

Ok, stopping with the troll posts, but if you say that the best CTFer has the most kills, that's pretty unfair. @LordCh4os has been on top of the kill leaderboards for a while, and by a substantial amount (props), but that in no way makes him the best CTF player. Is he one hell of a good archer? Yes, but put him in a ninja 1v1 or have him soldier cap, and I could think of 50 players who would leave him in the dust or combo him to hell (sorry chaos :[[ ). Also, Chaos mains archer, and that's the class where he got the majority of his kills from. You say you know a lot about archer, so from one archer main to another, you should know how easy it is to get 40+ kills in every game. However, what about the other classes? I consider myself a decent all-classer, and I would say that it is more difficult getting a kill as medic rather than archer. Not to mention, but isn't the goal of Capture the Flag to capture the flag? Why have no criteria based on caps? The same problem with recovs is also prevalent.

In conclusion, although things like this may have good intentions, it's simply impossible to have a single "best" CTF Player. Although many people would agree on players who are heads above the rest, there are just too many categories and criteria to say for certain that so and so is the best player of all, especially when you are basing it off of something like kills. Not to mention, you would have to consider all of the old players and their accomplishments and factor in that as well.

(And no one here likes popularity contests either, sorry :[[ )
