Idea Remove enderpearl glitch?

    Hello Brawl,

    I have recently learned that the class ninja, When you pearl constantly trying to get across the map or simply pearling to many times at once. You would something get your pearl removed. This frustrates many ninjas and making them having to respawn. At first I and i'm sure many to, have thought this was a glitch. It isn't.

    This was implemented to stop players to glitch through blocks to ultimately get out of the maps. However, this also effect ninja who simply pearl to cross the map. This also gets extremely frustrating during matches.



    So what should be replaced with this?​

    This may get complicated for future maps. But just like in hub where their are regions for set people to enter. The same can be placed all around the map to stop players to get out of these maps. Not only outside, but places in-map where players glitch into but get blocked by blockers or set regions as the ones around the map.

    Please tell me what you think.

    That's a very good point you brought up, I've never really encountered this myself, but I can see why this was added, and how it could be a problem for people who don't actually pearl glitch. The solution in my opinion is very time consuming and not that efficient.

    Maybe if you throw like 2-3 pearls in the same second, then your pearl gets taken away for 3 seconds, after 3 seconds you will get it back.

    Honestly as long as the person doesn't have the flag, it doesn't matter if they get out of the map. Come on, who actually cares if a ninja is roaming on the roof of Castle Caverns, it really doesn't effect the game as long as they don't take the flag up there.

    If they DID indeed have the flag, then countermeasures would have to be placed (for your version, it would have to be placed specifically for the person who carries the flag), which is what he is suggesting :stuck_out_tongue:. Although it may be seen that ninjas don't hurt any gameplay, there's the matter that they could glitch again, meaning they would glitch anywhere in the map they want without being disturbed.

    Scenario: You go up on the roof of Castle Caverns, you then proceed to enemy territory (well at least on top of the them), and glitch right on top of the flag without being disturbed whatsoever. This could be applied to other maps as well. There are players who play mid purposely to kill any players who are traveling to the enemy flag, this factor is removed thus making gameplay unfair because ninjas are harder to kill.

    Pretty sure you can't get back down from the roof without respawning. I don't actually think there's any map glitches that this could be a problem in.

    It gets really annoying because for me it happens at the most random times.
