Idea Few Ideas for Assassin

    Since assassin is supposedly the next class getting a rework, decided I'd post a few ideas.
    1. When an assassin uses its assassination, anyone within a 10 block radius gets nausea I for 2 seconds. This means sneaking up on someone to kill them is slightly harder, and its actually possible to counter an assassin who mindlessly runs up behind you and kills you while you're not looking.
    2. Give the boots feather falling X, so it can jump off stuff more. Or just remove all fall damage like soldier has.
    3. Instead of getting a speed bonus from the sugar, you should get launched 10 blocks in the direction you're looking at. You'd travel the 10 blocks in about a second, and would allow assassin to speed up a bit more and take their victim. There's no cooldown on this, and the respawn times on the sugar would be the same (or perhaps slightly faster).
    4. Give every single class a shield in 1.9, apart from pyro, engineer and mage. Then, instead of blocking to counter an assassin, using your shield will block an assassin. Pyro and mage don't have swords so can't block assassin now anyways, and this doesn't need to change. Engineer not having a shield won't be a big issue to them, as a lot of the time the turret will take out the assassin, and its a needed nerf to allow killing engineers being a bit easier, considering instakills are by far the best counter to engineer.
    5. Don't let assassin spawn with their redstone. When an assassin respawns, they don't get their redstone for 10 seconds, to prevent assassins from respawn abusing. Since its just 10 seconds, it'd rarely effect an assassin that isn't respawn abusing.
    Tried to keep this as similar to old assassin as possible, since it isn't insanely OP now (if you compare it to archer or dwarf, at least). Also, its 1am, sorry for any grammar mistakes.

    Like your ideas, but why is assassin the next rework? Give dwarf and necro some love too.... Even medic and ninja need it more tbh.

    1.9 = no blocking = no stopping instakills

    Brawl's gonna have to do something about assassin before they fully update to 1.9.

    Seems pretty kewl, but I have some things to point out.

    2. What if just like in "Assassin's" creed you do a roll when you hit the ground, like other games. Whenever you take a certain fall damage, it cancels and you "roll" (meaning you have slowness), and the time of it depends on the fall damage you take. Possibly Assassin takes 3/4 of the damage, making some jumps make you have 0 damage (like a 6 block jump).

    4. How about Ninja? Agility-based classes and some other classes don't even make sense with this, I understand when you play in 1.9 in Brawl and you sword block, it turns into a shield, but that's just so it's compatible with 1.8 and 1.9, and shouldn't actually be used in 1.9. I think something else would have to be done to avoid instakill, or just nerf it like so many other reworks suggest.

    5. 20 seconds seems like a bit too long, the whole danger of capturing a flag is that you may get killed, that's why it's purposely next to spawn. Maybe a 10 second cooldown would suffice.

    I dislike idea 1, 3 and 5 a lot.

    2 is decent though I am not really seeing the point and 4 is pretty obvious if this server wants to go to 1.9.

    2. This sounds cool. The amount of slowness you get should depend on how far you jump.

    4. Ninja is able to block assassins now, so it should be able to get a shield to block assassins in 1.9. At the moment, adding shields is the easiest way of getting around the fact that blocking is removed, and reworking the instakill could end up in assassin being more OP or UP. I think the instakill isn't really broken with assassin, apart from the fact that if they sneak up on you well enough you're guaranteed to die (something that 1 would hopefully fix). Any suggestions for what should be done for avoiding the instakill?

    5. It should be however long the cooldown is, but since I have no idea how long it is, I just used 20. But I see your point, if the cooldown on respawn was just 10 seconds, it won't effect assassins that aren't respawn abusing but would hopefully stop assassins if they are respawn abusing.

    What part of number 1 don't you like? That was the only suggestion here I thought people would actually like o.o

    Or perhaps blindness, considering you can still see things that are close to you, and Assassins are melee classes.
