uh im not sure if it happened on mcpvp but ik b0s hosted this a while ago on brawl

Name: Arena

Description / Objective: Moshpit. No survivors. Everybody is set to one class and all you do is kill.

Where and how it happened: There were two teams with players determined by random picks /correct me if I'm wrong/ and you win via kills.

 

I can't remember if there was a talent competition posted on the forums. I think a while back they did an enormous game where each side had players made up of like five or six different teams and had a huge game. Don't really remember.

 

Name: Flag runner

Description / Objective: A match where the map was a maze (Reason why maze was I believe a mix between mcmaze and mcctf.)

Where and how it happened: on ctf match server.


Name: Ctf sing off @gamren

Description / Objective: people from community sing for everyone and are judged

Where and how it happened: On skype with a large af skype call.

 

Usually @Quarrelt did huge CTF event stuff
Although, gam did host CTF Sing off

 

SO. Many. Memories.

 

The community is actually being asked about ctf??? What is this wizardry

Seriously though, the sing off thing mentioned (@Snowbreak ) is the only event I remember, funny af.

 

We never had community events- the only thing that ever happened on the servers was maybe throwback map days.

 

The only events I can really recall all centered around CTF Teams, (tournaments, etc..)
Other then that, it was mostly just playing old/new maps, or maybe trying out some new gamemode thing (arena).

I'm out of school on the 25th, I'm totally down for a Sing-Off on a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon after that

I remember organizing the 'same class' game well over a year and a half ago now.

I also remember coming up with the idea for and assisting with the creation of a CTF raids faction on a different server. It ended up dying out but I mean whatever, it was cool af.

 

There were ctf teams that doubled as mazerunner teams

 

The ctf factions server thing was amazing, should be done again imo

Something I think that would be interesting would have a day/night (in correlation to different timezones.) rotation of old maps that are not currently in rotation.

Can we do a community event where the entirety of the CTF community targets as archer @LordCh4os? :3
